NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"I think o'connell's staying at OC, he did well in his first season calling plays. the other side of the ball is most important and I think he'll be bringing his own men with him. trent made it clear a couple of months ago that he had a big problem with allen, so could be back"

"Rivera should improve the defence instantly, although i think he got binned because Carolina's defence was so terrible this year. The OC hire will be crucial for Haskins as with Guice (if he can stay healthy) and terry mclaughlin they have some good building block pieces. Maybe even get Trent Williams back at left tackle now which would be huge"

rivera's agreed a five year deal. snyder's made more good decisions in two days than the rest of his twenty years. just get the right GM and we can finally start improving

"no, cough. I think we've drafted a player with more potential, and with the right head coach should progress well next year. he showed good signs, admittedly against crap defences, late in the season. I don't think cousins is a bad player for you, but I think your strength is run first and relying on cook (when fit), as I think he's your biggest weapon"

"that Cleveland team looks a tough one to manage, far too many big egos. watched a video with the odd couple (broussard & parker) talking about dallas and prescott allegedly wanting $40m a season. he's nowhere near worth that, he's a bit better than cousins but nowhere near elite"

"I am guessing the Fins OC and O-Line coach are being fired for their collective failure to get any sort of run game going. It doesn't help that there best RB got traded away, their next RB copped a ban for recreational drugs and the three other guys they tried got nowhere. Any team that has 37 year QB (who was not fast when he was young) as their leading rusher has got big problems. Shame as they did one of my favourite offensive plays of the season."

"could well be 3/4 of the NFC (L)East looking for a new head coach at the same time assuming Garrett is gone. Interesting i saw Kitchens being fired means he now goes down as the coach with the highest win percentage in Cleveland Browns History (since they were reformed after their team ran to Baltimore) Also very surprising to see the Dolphins fire their OC after what could only be described as a year where they hugely overachieved, wouldnt be surprised if he came back to the Pats now if McDaniels is getting head coaching interviews again"

"crystal, if your ever watched an interview with him you'd soon realise that we're stuck with him for a long time so him finally realising bruce allen was clueless is at least a start. I'm just not confident they'll get his replacement right but as you said, rivera may have said he couldn't work with allen so that's why he's gone. the old ohio state coach, meyer, was at a recent game and also alex smith is well thought of by everyone at the club, so maybe they're two candidates"

Just saying Dan Snyder may be very close to the last owner in the league id want to be working under. in terms of actual talent they may be a pretty good prospect if Haskins can take a big step forward next offseason. Have a good young running back a very good young receiver and a half decent defence which may be getting the best defensive draft prospect in a generation.

you should worry about your own cheating franchise before saying a coach is too good for the redskins

"Would have imagined Ron Rivera would have been able to almost have his pick of the open head coaching jobs, Seems weird he'd choose to go to the Redskins already before more jobs have even opened up. Id imagine he's been told he can essentially pick his own General manager but i still would not want to be working under that ownership."

"Was some contact, but the sort that probably wouldn't have been overturned and it wouldn't have even been an issue if it weren't for the shocking calls that gave them the ball in the first place. And I did laugh when for one of them Lockett actually dived to get an interference call and the stupid bastard injured himself and had to sit out a few plays."

"Havent seen any of the game yet but listening to the ""around the NFL"" recap podcast and they're saying the 49ers may have gotten away with a pretty blatant pas interference call in the end-zone at the end of the game, or they were at least saying they can't believe it wasn't reviewed."

"Dont be daft, the past personal foul was an absolute joke. Was already making the tackle when the whistle went for the running back being down out of his eyesight. And your record on the road in the play offs under Carroll is shite, so wont be easy."

"Great win for the Niners. Fucking refs did their best to give it to them. The personal foul against the Niners was so bad it makes you wonder. They fucking knew Seattles D couldn't stop us. We were gonna run out the clock before they hit us with another bogus flag. Unbelievable how many bad calls go their way. We probably play them at home in 2 weeks assuming the seaslags beat Philly next week. Be interesting to see what calls go our way. Anyway, we ended the Rams season last week and now we beat Seattle at their place... 1 seed... sounds seeet! Wheres Burns?"
