"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Saw a good theory saying Keuchly has probably already been approached about a job in announcing, nobody on defence could dissect an offence like him. In other news i see Odell has got a warrant out for his arrest for ""assaulting"" a security guard in the LSU locker room. (he slapped him on the ass)"

"the bengals would be crazy passing up on drafting burrow. especially as they have a good set of receivers and a very good running back. of course, they'd get a few future picks but none would compensate getting a QB that could transform the franchise for the next 10-15 years"

"If I were Cam Newton, there's no way on Earth I'd move from Carolina to the Bengals. But you never know in this league - money talks, probably more than in any other sport. Two years ago, when he was as good as any receiver in the league, nobody thought Odell Beckham would end up at the Browns."

"I see lots of talk at the moment that the Bungles are going to trade their first pick to the Panthers for Cam Newton plus draft picks. Reason being the Panthers have just appointed Joe Brady from LSU as their new OC, and they want to reunite him with Joe Burrows. My Bungles mate said ages ago that if they got first pick they'd never keep it, seems he might be right"

"Had placed 10 English pounds on Chase to get the 1st TD, so was overjoyed to see the Bastard had got the 2nd one instead. Rare to get such decent odds on the 1st TD in a college game, as you'll never get 10's on someone with 18 TD's in the NFL!! You know they don't rate the defences though when the odds for about 5 of the blokes in the game to get a TD at any time was 1/5 :o)"

"Joe Burrow had 5 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown last night to complete a 15-0 season as they destroyed a team that was on a 29 game unbeaten run over the last 2 years. Looks such an incredible prospect, shame he's going to be going to the bengals."

"FC, Yep, that was from a few years ago, and Johnson ended up sacking Idzik! Unfortunately, he and his brother have since appointed a string of poor choices. Mind you, it's a reminder that fan pressure can be applied to Johnson & Johnson!"

"That felt like a proper play-off weekend, didn't it? Packers/Hawks was a bit turgid at times. But the rest of the games were high quality. Chiefs/Texans was off the chart mental. I'm enjoying this NFL season, have to say, despite the fact that the Jets were shite, again, under Gase."

"Crystal - was thinking exactly that this afternoon. I'm not a huge fan of the Niners (although they are at least a proper franchise out west, which is rare), but I know some people on here are. Reckon the NFL would love nothing more than a repeat of the inaugural Super Bowl - Niners beware!"

"Sorry, that WAS a bit pathetic. But I absolutely fucking hate it, and also find myself angrily resenting the fact I now hate something that I'd previously devoted so much of my life to. Bugger. Still. This NFL season has been superb (and as a Niners fan, things have been a bit lean for my team since the 80s...)"

"Fantastic weekend! I may have totally given up on VARball for the time being, but American Football did a great job of filling the sporting void as always! It was a bit like seeing West Ham win comfortably on the Saturday without even using their star forward, then seeing Tottenham crushed in the late Sunday game. Go Niners. What a running game exhibition that was."
