NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"someone like Mccaffrey is on an island, but is priced accordingly ($10.5k last week), you then dropped down to Barkley ($9k) and then the rest of the elite RBs Cook/Kamara/Henry/Sanders/A.Jones/Jacobs/Carson/Drake who fit in the $8.5-7k bracket. you then get the lesser backs who can be hit & miss but you often get break out players like the Colts Jonathan Taylor who shine immediately and who's price is going up by the thousand per week :.)"

Occupy. Agree 100%. I meant the Giants using that pick for him in the real draft. I understand the short term hit at the time because he was such a phenomenon but a RB is pretty short term at his level.

"playing dfs on fanduel for a while, you always use most of your salary on RBs as their usage is much more predictable than WRs. you get the odd exception like thomas or adams"

"Hermit 12.04 Yes, real shame about Saquan Barklay going down so early in the season. But in Fantasy terms, I still reckon it makes sense to draft top RBs early in the draft, and as many as possible, and even handcuff the best ones. I get smashed every year in our Fantasy League by people who've drafted the best RBs while I've been drafting Davante Adams or Julio Jones."

ironsofcanada 10:21 Sun Sep 20 The penny dropped. That was an immense performance from Jones. I just saw that Saquan Barclay is out for the year. Poor fucker. That is probably him done and shows why you shouldn't draft a RB so high
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"So Tyrod Taylor, The Chargers QB, didn't play Sunday due to chest pains he was having just before the game, he was rushed to the hospital. They just announced he suffered a punctured lung because of the pain shot he rec'd from the team medic before the game.......OOPS!"

"LeroysBoots 8:41 Tue Sep 22 Re: NFL (since 2016) Totally agree. The new WHL is not only awful, it's too small for NFL in the UK. Only grounds with at least 65,000 capacity and space for a proper tailgate should be considered."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Saw a great stat that going back to 1933 teams who scored 39 or more points and had no turnovers were 440-0 before sunday. The Falcons are now the 1 in that stat! They always seem to find new and heartbreaking ways to lose!
