NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Grumpster 11:14 Sun Sep 27 It is West Ham-like. I started McKinnon and it began great but apparently he picked up a rib injury and did nothing in the second half.

"Given that I have money on the Seahawks and Metcalf in my fantasy team I hope you'll permit the following, just this once... Metcalf you utter cսnt."

The falcons are doing it again! They were 16 points up with 5 minutes left. They're now trailing by 4 with 90 seconds to go
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"We've been very lucky that the teams we've played the last 2 weeks are shite nuts, as we need some bodies back against the better teams, as may not get away with it otherwise. Unreal set of injuries."

"Desperately sad news for Pats RB James White - his parents have been in a car crash, with his dad passing away and his mum is in a critical condition."

"Hermit, my misunderstanding. Yes, you are exactly right. Putting so much stock in real NFL terms in a particular RB is ultra high risk, given that the shelf life of a top RB is, apart from a few exceptions, a pretty short span."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"someone like Mccaffrey is on an island, but is priced accordingly ($10.5k last week), you then dropped down to Barkley ($9k) and then the rest of the elite RBs Cook/Kamara/Henry/Sanders/A.Jones/Jacobs/Carson/Drake who fit in the $8.5-7k bracket. you then get the lesser backs who can be hit & miss but you often get break out players like the Colts Jonathan Taylor who shine immediately and who's price is going up by the thousand per week :.)"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Occupy. Agree 100%. I meant the Giants using that pick for him in the real draft. I understand the short term hit at the time because he was such a phenomenon but a RB is pretty short term at his level.

"playing dfs on fanduel for a while, you always use most of your salary on RBs as their usage is much more predictable than WRs. you get the odd exception like thomas or adams"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Hermit 12.04 Yes, real shame about Saquan Barklay going down so early in the season. But in Fantasy terms, I still reckon it makes sense to draft top RBs early in the draft, and as many as possible, and even handcuff the best ones. I get smashed every year in our Fantasy League by people who've drafted the best RBs while I've been drafting Davante Adams or Julio Jones."
