NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Wilson threw four interceptions - two of which were fucking awful decisions. Juts goes to show that most rookie QBs have a long way to go before they are NFL standard. You could tell that Saleh was really pissed with Wilson after the game. The coach said in his interview that Wilson has to learn to be boring - and do the basic things well - rather than try to light up every game on every play. He's trying too hard and thinking he can just produce some magic by throwing on the run every time he gets into trouble. Do that against a Bill Belichick defense and, as he found out, you'll soon find yourself on your arse all day. No escaping the fact that Wilson was poor. But it's just his second NFL game and the crash-landing will, I hope, do him some good. He's already learned that this is not BYU and he's going to get ripped to pieces unless he can do the NFL fundamentals well. Hard to see the Jets winning more than four games this season. Saleh, like Wilson, has a lot to learn. I like the cut of his jib, and nobody should be judged on an early match-up with Belichick. But the Jets have seen a lot of supposed defensive-minded HCs (Edwards, Mangini, Rex and Bowles) come and go in recent decades - we will expect to at least see some improvements on that side of the ball. But the defense was fucking awful at times yesterday."

Yeah it was touch and go there for a while Falace. But I think those early Gronk TDs just tipped it my favour. Although how many picks did Zack Wilson throw??? I can't see them winning a game this year.

"Niners win another early start east coast game. 2-0 baby! Philly is a good team, their D line is legit but Niners D is better. Glad I can say that game is behind us. Nice to beat them on their home opener. next up we have Green Bay at home. Then Seattle, can't wait!"

"All the ""experts"" said to go with chase or robinson this week. I really only picked mcLaurin because i wanted some interest in this game if i was going ti watch the first half. Working well so far. Heinicke has worked out that if you just throw it Terry's way he'll come down with it mlre often than not"

"crystal, no stick with him. sunday fitz never targeted him once before his injury, he was then targeted four times - catching all four from heinicke. we'll get a lot more of the ball tonight, the chargers offense were on the field twenty minutes in the first half sunday, so I expect quite a difference later"

"The mannings are doing an alternate commentary on every monday night game. I saw a bit of it on the first one and they are both very good. Mike talk to me about Terry Mclaurin, i drafted him as my WR1 thinking fitz was just gna chuck it up to him all year. Has he lost alot of value with the young lad at QB for the forseeable?"

"I know it's a bit early talking about just win games, but considering the skins upcoming schedule, the giants game is just that giants (h), bills (a), falcons (a), saints (h), chiefs (h), packers (a), broncos (a), buccs (h) üòÅ"

After week 1 it seems i have the same problem in fantasy i have every year. Too many great receivers means im always going to end up making the wrong decision and leaving loads of points on my bench.

4th highest fantasy score this week but still lost - normal service has been resumed! At least the Fins won. Anyone else bought tickets for the game v the Jags at the #Spits stadium next month? A bit pricey but had to be done.

"Start of another long season for the Jets. We were so shit under Gase - easily the worst coach in NFL history, to answer the question below, btw (I'll leave it at that for now!) - that it is a LONG way back even to being an average side under a new head coach, new OC, new DC, new QB and several new starters in key positions. To rub salt in the wound, our old QB, who I quite liked, returned to show us that he was a decent first-round pick after all! I like Darnold, so I won't flog the bloke. We're prepared for a two or three season turnaround under what looks like a decent coaching team - but this is going to be a long and at times painful couple of years until Wilson matures and others grow into the NFL. We're also still very short of quality against the pass. Some sides are going to take a lot of air yards off us until we find at least one good corner. On another note, Chiefs/Browns games are just mental. Two teams going at it hammer and tongs. Love it."

"no surprise my fantasy team lost in wk1, it's difficult winning when your three running backs only deliver a combined 23 points. like the skins, must do better in week two :.) biggest surprise was how bad atlanta are, really bad"
