NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"holstebro, I hate scott turner. he's so bad and only in the job because of his old man. not that del rio is doing much better. this is honestly as bad as the worst I watched under gruden. rivera kept on the roster, an explosive little running back called jarett patterson, that cսnt turner refuses to use him - instead using a catching/3rd down back instead from the backfield"

Absolutely Takashi. I am absolutely fuming. The defence are piss piss piss poor. Bloody Joke. I don't blame Heineke. He's in a no win situation. That drop right there by Dyami Brown should have him out. So fucked off. I could go on. But. Fuuuuck

"I'm switching between the Ravens and Colts games. Jackson there two beautiful passes at the end of the first half, both inexplicably dropped by Brown. As for the Titans, Derek Henry is ridiculous. He gets hit multiple times and just keeps going. It's unbelievable how he has taken so many hits over the years and still keeps doing the same thing."

"another absolute week of garbage from the WFT, not sure what Rivera did in pre-season but we've gone backwards. it's all well and good employing friends and sons of friends to the coaching staff, but this is dogshit. we're literally, horrible to watch"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Some good games tomorrow: Early game we have the Chargers at Chiefs""¶. Herbert is looking like an elite QB. Chargers will win a Super Bowl before the Rams do. Chargers in a surprise win on the road. Rams against Bucs! Should be interesting.Brady prevails! Bucs by 3 Seahawks at Vikings""¶ Vikes win ugly! Vikes by 6. Niners against Packers""¶.. Niners win by 10."

"I'm internalising a lot of shit at the moment, Zeb. People say it's good for you, but I'm not sure. At some point, I'm going to erupt. It'll be like that volcano in the Canaries! I think it's only West Ham's good form that is keeping me sane."

"crystal, nick chubb got 95 yards against them off just 11 carries. mccaffrey has no competition in the backfield"

Mccaffery's rushing total tonight is set at 82.5 seems very low. Would be lumping on the over if i was having a bet

Re: NFL (since 2016)
With Prescott they can put points up against anyone but that geezer has been banged up something rotten. On Hard Knocks he was showing off all his scars. His body looks like it's been through multiple car pile ups multiple times.
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Norflundon 9:30 Mon Sep 20 Same as last year then. Have they improved their secondary as they were bloody awful? Until Dak Prescott got injured the offence was almost unstoppable. Am a bit worried about the Dolphins now. We looked better when Fitzpatrick was QB and tailed off a bit offensively when Tua took over. I hope Tua isn't crocked but still suspect that he is not actually all that good.

"Yeah I know it's a spactrick but fuck it, I'm gutted that we have a proper NFL connection with Norf and his brother's ended up there, and after Hard Knocks he seems like a decent geezer too. It's making me have to put extra effort into hating them"

"The Birds were shit yesterday but when they play the Cowgirls they are going to grind them into dust, in Philly and in Dallas. Fletcher Cox is going to use Dak as a mop to clean the Linc. After last week's debacle with Rodgers, I am relying on him to win despite this week's debacle."

"no Cough, you've been far from shit. you should be 2-0 on the road and just poor discipline (week one) and a questionable coach call (week two) was the difference. I think you have a very promising side, but like I said to SB, the suits need to stay patient"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Mentally, most Jets fans wrote off this season long before it even started - due to that complete lack of experience anywhere in the set-up. Even more so after the first two games. But we are fucking fed up writing-off season after season after season. The franchise is just never, ever settled and the constant excuse from owners is that the new coaches/players are building for a future that never arrives. That's when this just becomes tiresome. You guys know that in Washington."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"TM - you've basically just summed up the last 20 years at the Jets! Hopefully, the new crop will - over time - be a different breed. I like how Saleh talks about the game and he seems to have good instincts. So does Joe Douglas, the GM. But they're both still young and raw as a GM-HC combo. Add to that the point you're making - that the QB1 is barely out of nappies - and there's a whole lot of experience missing. Time will tell. More than most sets of fans, we have seen and heard a LOT of this before. I see Darnold has already turned solid in Carolina! Don't say we weren't warned!"

"It must be hard for a college QB to play from the get to as QB1. I can't remember many succeeding in recent years other than Herbert, even Allen needed a year to get accustomed to the league. I appreciate the pressure coaches are under and them also dealing with expectations, but front offices have to be staffed by football people otherwise you'll have a constant revolving door of failure"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Wilson threw four interceptions - two of which were fucking awful decisions. Juts goes to show that most rookie QBs have a long way to go before they are NFL standard. You could tell that Saleh was really pissed with Wilson after the game. The coach said in his interview that Wilson has to learn to be boring - and do the basic things well - rather than try to light up every game on every play. He's trying too hard and thinking he can just produce some magic by throwing on the run every time he gets into trouble. Do that against a Bill Belichick defense and, as he found out, you'll soon find yourself on your arse all day. No escaping the fact that Wilson was poor. But it's just his second NFL game and the crash-landing will, I hope, do him some good. He's already learned that this is not BYU and he's going to get ripped to pieces unless he can do the NFL fundamentals well. Hard to see the Jets winning more than four games this season. Saleh, like Wilson, has a lot to learn. I like the cut of his jib, and nobody should be judged on an early match-up with Belichick. But the Jets have seen a lot of supposed defensive-minded HCs (Edwards, Mangini, Rex and Bowles) come and go in recent decades - we will expect to at least see some improvements on that side of the ball. But the defense was fucking awful at times yesterday."
