"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

The NFL is a joke. Moved the Eagles to 7pm Tuesday and they play the Giants the following Sunday. There is no way the Eagles should be punished when it is Washington who have the Rona outbreak.

Thanks for that SBBnB. I was hugely excited having read the press release until I realised shortly after the initial onset of euphoria that I had no idea what the 300+ words had actually told me. Now I know I am unexcited in equal measure.

"Isaac, It really just allows teams to place their merchandise inside various UK outlets in ways that won't breach the NFL's rules on equal access etc. So you'll now see a disproportionate amount of Jets, Fish, Jags, 49ers, Bears and Vikes stuff in UK stores. At a push, they'll be allowed to open bespoke merchandise stores in London etc. No surprise to see the Jags on that ticket: NFL still entertaining the (foolish) idea of a London franchise. There's some other weird digital shit that goes along with it, too. And every now and then, an obscure linebacker on the Fish's practice squad will turn up at a school in Hackney and BBC London will get very excited while the kids all look underwhelmed because it's not Tom Brady. It's basically NFL puff-waffle. I'm surprised they've allowed the Jets and Fish the same open access to the same market. Maybe we need the fans?!"

Can someone please explain to me what this Home Marketing Area Programme is about and why I should be excited that the Dolphins are a UK allocated team? I have read the press release twice and I cant fathom it...

"Burnsy - the NFC is such a weak division this year that, despite having as bad a season as I can remember in many a year, my mob still have chance of getting a wildcard spot. An maybe (just maybe) are getting into a run of form at just the right time. Big games against the Rams and the Cardinals. Although we're equally just a likely to lose to the Lions, such has been our unpredictability so far"

"Kittle is superb - also often takes two oppos out of the game, because they often have to double-team him. He's fine player to have because other teams have to make so many plans for him. Harder to plan to attack the QB when you've got that outlet dragging defenders away from the QB. I'm defending Jimmy, too. He's OK. Will never be a great QB, but he's OK. Many NFL sides could do worse."

"Prescott is such a strange QB. On sparing occasions he looks elite level, even against some good sides, and then other weeks he falls off a cliff, even against really poor sides. I suspect he's all about defensive schemes. He seems to read some schemes and structures much better than others. Really struggles under pressure when teams throw safety support at his primary routes. So his check-downs are never that great. His ankle injury must also nag away at the back of his mind. That Dallas side does look solid, though, because of that defense."

"Dak's form is a big worry at the mo he seems to be now where mahomes was 7/8 weeks ago he's not making simple throws and making some bad decisions he did absolutely everything to try and lose that game yesterday we just got lucky that the defence bailed us out on several occasions. It's hard to see what the problem is but he's just fallen off a cliff, we can win divisional games by dominating on defence but we won't win play offs against any of the big boys we it's a Mis firing offense because this has been going on for weeks now. He's got 4 games to get his shit together"

"Parsons is a beast at the moment. Proper combination of speed and power. What a draft choice he was. Some close games over the weekend: Boys/ex-Skins, Patsies/Bills, Browns/Ravens, 49ers/Bengals etc. But the ominous result was the Chiefs thumping the Raiders. Chiefs finding form just at the right time. Jets remain a complete car crash. In fact, I've kinda' settled on a view of our HC now: Saleh has officially been 'shit' so far. No more or less. He can wang on (and, boy, does he wang on!) about all kinds of semi-nonsensical business-based analyses bullshit...but when you strip away all the David Brent stuff, all you see is a car crash of a team, poorly coached and demotivated - making absolutely no improvements whatsoever. Nice guy, out of his depth at the moment. No doubt we'll have Saleh again next season. Any coach deserves two years, I guess. Even Gase got that. But I'm not holding my breath on this guy any longer. We can see straight through his cod-philosophy. If he improves in time, great. But he has got a LONG way to go - and is already beginning to run out of games. In the NFL these days, you generally get two seasons to prove yourself: 34 games. Saleh has coached 13 already at the end of the season he'll be halfway through a likely NFL tenure. Teams then start thinking seriously about making coaching changes around 12 games into any second season. So by my reckoning, Saleh has around 16 games left to save his tenure at the Jets. Some fans are genuinely already just counting down his games. People think you get time. You don't. That's why, in general, I think sides like the Jets should appoint experience when they get the chance."

Niners win big on the road against a talented Bengal team. Only a game behind the Rams should they lose to the Cards. Kittle is the best Tight End in football! Plus we've got a Deebo! Schedule isn't too bad now so playoffs are a strong possibility.

Southbank Tough game they are looking good Defensively we look good and are getting better week by week Gregory could be back and parsons just seems to get better every week. They need to cut the penalties out but I will say we've had some unbelievable officiating especially in the raiders and Kansas games Offensively is my worry which is not what I was expecting to say. We seem to be putting good numbers up but when you actually watch the games just don't seem to be playing that well. Personally I'd like to see a lot more of pollard and a lot less of zeek cos if we can get the running game going again it opens up the whole offence again. There's still an outside chance of top seed as we have the cards at home penultimate game but we can't have any slip ups before then.

"Not going to be a pushover for the Cowgirls in Washington, though, Norf. The Girls should win it, on paper. But as TM has been pointing out, there is a real team spirit within that ex-Skins squad. They're well drilled, they've got some real strength on the lines and make opponents work for it. I like the way things are building in Washington after years of mediocrity. They give hope to the hopeless - like the Jets! Should be a good Boys/ex-Skins game. Hope it harks back to the big battles in the 80s."
