NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Two games in 10 points allowed it's a pretty decent start. Fair enough the jets had their back up QB but we still put 30 points on the board and reall stopped playing half way through the 3rd quarter against a defender that is supposed to be the real deal. Dak has his critics but he was near faultless last night and MM's play calling seems to of simplified the game for him. CeeDee was exceptional pollard was steady and the two back RB's both contributed as did Tolbert at WR with cooks out. Oline looks great but there is absolutely no depth and we are 2/3 injuries away from a massive drop off. Parsons alone could make us a Superbowl team he is truly unbelievable if you haven't seen his first sack last night just watch it it's not humanly possible for somebody that big to be that fast. The rest of the defence were very very good last but he single Handedly dismantled the jets offence piece by piece. Just like all the top team it Will completely depend on who stays healthy but we have a real chance. With 9mill of cap space I'd like a couple of players in FA especially on the Oline Tyrone smith is a walking bandage and it's only a matter of time before he goes down. Fingers crossed the big guns stay healthy
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Unlucky Burnsy, thought your mob played well and the rookie WR looks decent. Purdy needs to improve in certain moments, but he's definitely going the right way so staying fit more important!!"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Only two games into the season (one ruined for Jets fans after just four plays!), but I have to say that Dallas defense looks like the real deal. Really well drilled outfit, with a deep defensive roster and several looks - all effective. Norf's brother is doing a fine job! Admittedly, Zach Wilson is trying to re-find his feet leading a team he was not expecting to lead so soon into the season. But Dallas did not give him time to settle or familiarise himself with his main weapons - did a thoroughly professional job on him. Wilson will have better days, but there's little doubt he's a drop off from Rodgers. Going to be another hard grind this season - but we can win games. Too early to talk in detail about what happens longer-term with Rodgers, but if the Jets/Saleh have any sense they will focus a lot of scouting resources on QBs (draft, free agents and trades) from here to December. Nobody would blame Rodgers for walking away from the game. He's 40 next birthday, and it's a LONG haul back from an achilles injury at that age."

Another Niner win at Sofi! 9 wins in a row against the Rams in the regular season now. Giants up next on Thursday night football. Niners on a roll! Purdy missed a couple of deep balls today but also made some nice throws. Deebo and CMC are just too good.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"I might have a couple of players to trade later depending on how it turns out. Autodraft doubled up for me picking 2 RBs and 2 WRs from the same teams, I would never have done that if I hadn't been out. Luckily it appears to have avoided colliding bye weeks which i did last year."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Just checked and Michael Carter is available. Although I think he's more likely to get a solid amount of carries later in the season, once Hall gets a few bounces and bruises. Hall is undoubtedly the Jets' #1 RB, but once he's sitting out games or plays, both Cook and Carter will share duties."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"I drafted Cook. I'm sitting on him because Breese Hall (who is superb) is likely to take a big knock at some point - especially now that the Jets don't have Rodgers. Hall's a contact back who loves a few yards after the first tackle, so he's going to get bashed up over time. Hence, Dalvin... The other guy to look out for on the Jets running roster will be Carter. Dunno if he's available in our fantasy league. But without Rodgers, we're likely to run the ball a lot. All the backs will get some game time behind Hall."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Crystal you sound a little touchy mate. My guess is Dalvin has already been picked up by someone, just a hunch. You crack on trying to trade Russ then. Let's see if there is any idiot dumb enough to trade a starting running back for him ffs! Wish you were in my fantasy league, I'd want to play you every week. Some people eh? Gotta laugh!"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Have you had a look Melvin Gordon? He has just been moved to the Ravens match day squad to cover for JK Dobbins who is out for a long time. Most of the half decent running backs got hoovered up in waivers on Wednesday. It is thin pickings with Cordarelle Patterson looking he best of a mediocre bunch of free agents.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Hence why i tried to find a trade? Dalvin cook? You mean the backup running back in new york who breece hall was already playing ahead of? If you dont know the league properly maybe dont be offering me advice
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"That's the point, you are not gonna have a permanent replacement this week, you have to find a weekly filler until u stumble across a solid back up who has a good chance of being used. Devin cook always gets hurt, who is his back up? Michell at the 49ers, how about him?"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Yeah i dont need tips on how to play fantasy football thanks. EVERY running back available is trash and with my RB1 going down i need a permanent addition not a weekly filler
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Well aren't you able to go on and pick up whoever is left now that the waiver period is passed? Look at this weeks match ups, who has a poor run D, see who they are playing? Who has a big run game? Atlanta for example who is there back up? They have a good o line, not much by way of receiver a questionable QB and a work horse beast RB who they lean on. Chances are he'll get hurt. Look at match ups each week, see who is available. RB's are the easiest to replace as there are so many of them getting hurt and so many available."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Lol look at the running backs on the waiver wire i tried to get the ravens backup but didnt get him.
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Crystal Falace Then go on the bloody waiver wire and pick up some back ups ffs. Find out who is RB 2 and pick them up. Every year RB's get hurt especially as the season progresses. It's those that play the waiver wire and pick up the best back ups who usually win. That's where the skill comes in. It's not all about the draft and trades ffs.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"I really hate my fantasy team, the auto draft only gave me 3 running backs, one who is suspended and another who tore his achillees week one! Would be open for trading for a decent option if anyone has spares, i dont really have much to offer in way of WR wither though! Michael pittman or russel Wilson basically all i can afford to lose right now!"

"cough, joe's been quite involved with the new owners and been at a few of the press events. he's 82 now, so probably has to be careful with his time and I think is based in carolina"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
All you need now is Joe Gibbs to return after he's finished playing with his cars.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"haha, at 64 he probably would have done a better job than the current RT. Riggo returned at the weekend, coming back after an invite by the new owners (among many other legends that had stayed away because of Snyder). Sonny Jurgensen sitting next to Josh Harris during the game. happier times at the moment"
