"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"oh dear, we've got the dolphins at home next weekend and the way we're defending it could be 50+ points conceded. I know firings won't be an instant cure, but harris really needs to restore some goodwill and at least appear to be aware of what's happening. this season has shown why bienemy never got that year coach role and with its clear andy reid called the shots in kansas"

"They normally throw it straight into the stand FC, but the league then allowed the QB to spike at his feet to stop the clock. Even then the Redskins QB (Patrick Ramsey I think) manage to miss the ground and hit his own foot and the ball becomes live as it is regarded as a fumble, the 'skins lost possession and the game. Miike I feel your pain, I think I'll still watch it though. Just to see how many points Dallas can get and any new ways the 'skins can manage to find to fuck it up"

"I thought if the QB wants to stop the clock, he throws to the WR who has to go out of bounds with the ball?"

"tonight may be the first time in four decades of watching the redskins that I don't care what happens. The best thing may well be dallas battering us, as harris seems to be oblivious to the disgraceful standard of coaching"

"I'm not sure FC. Don't they spike the ball at their feet to stop the clock It was a seriously bit of bad play, if the Giant defender hadn't intercepted it I'm not sure the ball would of reached the sideline anyway."

The guy who presents NFL Redzone was almost speechless when that bit came up.

In the 41-years that the NFL has been on the TV in the UK I have never seen a QB throw an interception while trying to throw the ball out-of-bounds. Until last Sunday. The absolute cսnt.

"the honeymoon period for our new owners is officially over. questionable trades, dragging their feet over getting rid of poor coaches and being linked to a control freak like belichik which will just prolong the pain. harris really needs to get his head out of his arse and look to the future, no some seventy plus year old coach that has done nothing as a HC without brady"

"Zach Wilson has officially been relegated to #3 QB on the Jets roster for this weekend's game - behind complete nobodies Tim Boyle and Trevor Siemian. Boyle was picked up to throw to back-up receivers on the team's 'rest' days and will now start! He has 3 TDs and 9 interceptions from his Detroit days. Effectively, it makes Wilson the fourth choice QB at the Jets - with Rodgers likely to return in the new year even if he never plays another snap in New York. Surely the end for the kid from BYU? He will go somewhere else at the end of the season and become a back-up - which is probably what he needs."

"How about them Niners! Purdy with a perfect QB rating! Aiyuk playing lights out, Kittle showing up and CMC is the cherry on top, oh almost forgot, we got a Deebo in our back pocket too. Then there's the Defense, what a dream team! Hawks up on Thanksgiving, looking forward to some good food, a couple of Jameson's on the rocks and some good football and Friday off of course. Then Saturday night my boys are playing in the CIF final, Mission Viejo high school V Servite! What a week of football!"

You should all die of shame if you don't Burnsie. Lost our QB and best WR last night and still should have won - missed a last gasp field goal

"Properly fed up with the Jets this season. The Rodgers injury couldn't have been predicted, sure. But he was a near 40 year-old and there was always a higher chance of long-term injury to him. We also overpaid for him, distorted salaries elsewhere in order to get him (what was the point of the Dalvin Cook and Lazard deals, for example?), failed to invest in an O-Line because of that, and also brought in a co-ordinator - Rodgers' mate - whose system nobody else understands. All at the behest of owners who don't understand the game and yet wanted to be seen to lead that Rodgers deal. The whole thing has properly fucked us. Yet we have a superb defense - the part of the team really built by the head coach. I hope they (defenders) all stay, but would anybody be surprised if - after another binfire season - some of those gold-standard players decide to cash in and go elsewhere next term?"

"Zach Wilson is finally done in New York. Surely he's gone at the end of the season? That was a binfire of an offense last night. Truly and unforgettably dreadful. It didn't help that he has a barely patched up O-Line, but his decision-making is just shocking. Several times I was screaming at the screen when he failed to spot open receivers. I hate seeing QBs get benched, but once again cheered when Zach W was pulled out of that game. When we drafted him, he had some talent that needed moulding. He has only gone backwards since - he is genuinely worse now than the day we drafted him. A teenage-style ego that got away from him early on and has never wanted to to knuckle down and do the hard yards. He also looks very confused by a complex and clunky offensive system. Nate Hackett was brought in to help Rodgers - but it has undermined everybody else. Few understand his system, especially a limited backup QB. Zach W needs to do a Geno Smith: leave, knuckle down and study playbooks, work as a backup QB for a few seasons and then maybe - if he's lucky - get a start again somewhere else. This has become a defining feature of the New York Jets for the past 30 years. Rodgers was supposed to end that, of course, but that fell apart after four plays!"

Anyone have a new coach they want to give the Saints? Or at least an O-lineman or 2?

Nutsin 5:47 Mon Nov 13 Joshua Dobbs must be the best back-up QB in the NFL. Watched most of the match on NFL Redzone as he was almost always there. Given how little time he has been with Vikings it bodes well once he has the entire playbook down.

"Looks pretty open this year which is good. Most of the quality teams have had games where they've been made to look average and before Young came in to help get proper pressure on the QB, our secondary was looking absolutely atrocious."
