"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Not much of a fan these days but went to see Tampa Bay play a couple of games back in 1988, first one against Minnesota Vikings and the second against the Miami Dolphins where I got a couple of decent long lens shots of the great Dan Marino. Bucs lost both games but I have retained a soft spot for them ever since."

"Me too FC First game I watched 40 odd years ago was Cowboys v Redskins and I always backed the Indians against the cowboys (loved an underdog hence West Ham) in films, so backed the Redskins that day and stuck with them ever since."

"I remember when the Redskins as they were then, under Joe Gibbs, were winning Super Bowls like they they were going out of fashion with Art Monk, Diesel Riggins, Theismann and also the Jets with their superb New York Exchange consisting of Mark Gastineau, Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons and Abdul Salaam. those were the days"

"Oh Dear - like the Collatz conjecture, that's inestimable! Same applies to the Jets! I've heard it said that if Washington ever meet the Jets in a Superbowl, the world will end. But that will still be better than watching a team coached by Rich Kotite or owned by Dan Snyder!"

"Don't know that it's a great season, interesting yes, but I don't think there's a single great or even good team in the whole league. Pretty poor quality relative to other years. 9ers look the best of the bunch to me; but they're basically a first down team. If they're 2nd & 5, they'll destroy you all night, but if you win first down against them Purdy looks bang average ""ì when they take a chunk on first down it opens up their entire game plan. McCaffrey is the key ""ì if anything happens to him or that utter cսnt Deebo Samuel, they'll fall back in line with the shitness of everyone else."

"Zeb- fully agree, and last night just made it all even more complicated and fun. Two shock results and the picture feels as clear as mud in both conferences. No one is unbeatable. Ditto your point on quarterbacks. Jordan Love laying an egg and looking more like the undrafted kid shoved into a big time situation than Tommy DeVito. And what a little story he is at the moment."

El Scorchio 2:12 Mon Dec 11 This season is turning out to be a great one. No really dominant teams. The Ravens and 49ers are closest but both are beatable. It is weird to think of all the high drafted QBs over last few years that have been busts and yet Brock Purdy looks the real deal. One good thing for everyone else is that it looks as though the Chiefs have blown home field advantage for the play-offs. Hope the 'fins sneak past the Titans but the week 16 match against the Cowboys is the ONE. Wish I hadn't chosen the Texans defence against the Jets. It seemed such an obvious pick and then Zach Wilson played his best game for over a year.

"The good news is the Vikings kept a shutout against the Raiders, the bad news is the Vikings only scored 3 points, a field goal, that must be some kind of record, a three point game? It seems that QB Dobbs is not the QB we were hoping he would be, he was benched."

"Two beat downs in a row for the Eagles. Chiefs look a bit precarious in the AFC. Mahomes really lost his cool last night. Then again I would if my reciever did something as idiotic as Toney and cost the team the game ruining an otherwise amazing touchdown play. Both conferences feel wide open, which is nice. Would be great to see the Dolphins make the Super Bowl. (First in 40 years?)"

"Having been told - via a series of leaks to the media - that he's highly likely to be traded for a low pick at the end of the season, Zach Wilson has his arguably best game ever for the Jets as they comfortably beat Houston! Guy finally throws the ball all over the field and brings in 300+ yards, plus touchdowns. Typical Jets. Still, a win's a win. We ain't picking for a QB in the draft anyway - and there is some depth at O-line in the draft - so winning games is fine by me even at this stage of yet another dead season. Elsewhere, what did people say about the season changing so quickly? The Eagles (still a very fine side) have had their sticky patch and now look a little more vulnerable - and the 49ers currently look excellent. But it will all change again with momentum, injuries and when the real crunch games come along. Looks open again this year."

"Miike The whole organisation is a shambles, it must be a laughingstock amongst the other NFL Franchises. Teams do have up and down periods and bad seasons, but the ""òskins are taking the piss. It was once the most valuable sports franchise in the world, it bet it isn't now. My missus caught a glimpse of the stadium while was on the TV and she said that the upper two tiers seemed to empty. This was the team that not so long ago had a 30-year wait for ST's and now playing in a half empty stadium. I'm sure that some seats have been removed as they could no longer sell them. We can't keep worthwhile players. Thiesmann, Riggens and Monk are still hold 5 of 6 of the team's offensive records, Sammy Baugh holds the 6th record. Charles Mann and Darrell Green hold 3 out of 4 defensive records, Ryan Kerrigan has the last one. I know a few people bang on about the Jets, but can't be worse than the ""òskins. ps - am I the only fucker who struggles to log on to this site?"

"Brock Purdy is legit. Niners are healthy again and are rolling again. Dominating Philly like they did in Philly was huge. Now we want to see a Dallas win in Dallas this coming week. Feeling good about the Niners run in. Seattle are pretenders with the Ravens at home posing the hardest test. We end the season with the Rams at home who have surprised as of late, should make for an entertaining game if they are still in the wild card hunt. Philly have had a tough run of games though so not gonna write them off but it was a convincing win. Deebo had his best game, what a beast."

"can't say i'm surprised, said last week that we'd get thrashed if we carry on and have said all season that we're nowhere near the levels of last year. Been getting away with it a lot (no offence, Redksins fans) but we gave up over 400 yards TWICE to Sam HowelLOL and co, and it was bound to come home to roost at some point. Big week ahead, although i suspect we'll get similarly beaten at the Cowboys. Only positive is that i won't have to listen to yet another presser about how we haven't played our best ball yet. Might be about time to start doing it."
