Manchester Airport incident
"We're gonna have a British George Floyd now innit. The BLM mob are gonna be all over this. Expect a load of shoe shops to be looted as a ""protest"". This country's gone to the fucking dogs."

"Is the house claiming that the words spoken by the UK's Prime Minister - the official spokesman for the Labour Party - and relayed extensively on MSM carry less weight, influence and gravitas than the words typed on social media by a foreign national?"

"Council Scum 9:32 Wed Aug 21 Of course, this bloke will have to remain at liberty because his former prison place is now occupied by a rioter - a RIOTER. I guess that in the interests of justice and fairness, he will be encouraged by this to commit further offences against women and children because there's nowhere left to bang him up."

Re: Manchester Airport incident
The offender had just been recalled. He left prison and immediately went to the victims best friends house and held her at knife point. Amazed if Keir lasts a year in his jobs

"Pickle, what's with all the purple stuff in your recent posts? Have you just discovered Prince or something? CS, all that is part of the ridiculous that we're being led to. His hard stance will be lauded, whilst the circumstances you've just described will be brushed under the carpet. Fact that he's so versed in law makes it even worse."

"On an unrelated note my wife spent much of this morning (she works for the justice dept) letting a women know the man that stabbed her 47 times is being released from prison after serving 40% of his sentence tomorrow, he refuses to say where he will be staying when he is released until he is released. Yesterday she spent the morning talking to a women who was raped and beaten half to death by a man who also indecently touched her 9 year old daughter will be out this week after serving only 40% of his sentence. I feel Keir has got this just right on the punishment for the riots."

Re: Manchester Airport incident
"COYI I am talking legally not morally. Legally there is almost no way that could be considered self defence. Never say never but someone who's just been Tasered and is lying prone, stamping on his head which could feasibly kill him is 99% not likely to be accepted as reasonable force for self defence - regardless of what happened before. I am NOT defending the bloke on the floor and I'm not talking about moral rights and wrongs. I'm specifically talking about the law as it stands. Having spent two years working with Police and CPS I would be absolutely astonished if the copper didn't get charged and found guilty of assault at the very least. I feel sorry for him but he'd need a great explanation for why that was a reasonable use of force. The female colleague having her nose broken seconds before is not a legal justification. I genuinely hope I'm wrong but I don't think I will be proven wrong on this."

Re: Manchester Airport incident
The copper could legally claim self defence considering the thugs attacked his colleagues and broke the nose of one of his female colleagues. All on camera. It is an absolute disgrace that those animals are not behind bars already.

Re: Manchester Airport incident
... though I do reckon the Manchester thugs will end up getting off or a slap on wrist because of what the copper ended up doing.... some off the record deal where they get a light sentence and the solicitor doesn't go after the copper to hard... sadly the copper (legally) doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Re: Manchester Airport incident
Goose I just googled. He pleaded guilty yesterday to the arson of the bus. Hasn't submitted a plea on the violent disorder (rioting) and that's a later court date. Will only get sentenced once both charges are dealt with. For now back on remand.

"SurfaceAgentX2Zero 3:33 Wed Aug 21 Re: Manchester Airport incident LOL at Fifth. These cunts are bang to right on camera breaking a copper's nose. They could be nicked, charged and remanded. They aren't being. Nobody knows why - except you it seems. Meanwhile protesters are being told they should plead guilty because they will be remanded in custody longer than the probable sentence. Then they are getting 18m sentences. Two tier. No, not just me. Anyone who's been involved in the justice system in any way and knows how the court system works for complex cases can understand why this has gone to the CPS for a charging decision. As for the rest of it, do not of you ""two tier"" lot remember the 2011 riots. Hundreds of people charged and jailed in the same timescale and with similar sentences, people getting over a year for looting a bottle of water. You can argue it's over the top but the law around violent disorder carries more harsh sentences than if you just commit the same crime eg nicking a bottle of water, on your own. It's to deter mass violence and rioting. One of my closest friends was a Sergeant taken off far more serious work in 2011 who were tasked solely with tracking down rioters who'd committed minescule acts in the big scheme of things. This was under the direction of that old socialist, marxist BLM advocate... Boris Johnson who as London Mayor had oversight responsibility for the Met. I could be wrong but I don't remember a big outcry on WHO about all the 2011 rioters getting massive sentences. There undoubtedly has been two tier policing in certain things eg policing of a lot of the BLM stuff, ignoring the grooming gangs. But this 2024 rioting, investigations and sentencing is no quicker or more severe than 2011. The only difference now is most of the 2024 violence supporters on WHO had no sympathy with the 2011 rioters. Personally I'm happy that the 2011 and 2024 lot are/were both getting sent down. #### them all. With the Leeds riots, they nicked dozens of people after the event and some are now doing time who pleaded guilty, some on remand and some awaiting trial on bail."

goose 1:16 Wed Aug 21 Re: Manchester Airport incident I'm assuming that Roma gypsy guy who set fire to the bus is already behind bars? I can't be bothered to google it. He was on remand in prison within 48 hours. I don't know what's happened since then.

Trundle There can hardly be news of Ricky Jones' sentencing being shown live when he hasn't had a trial yet.

"My dear, strange purple little fellow. That's the PM talking to the public about his expectations and praise of the justice system. He is also sending a signal that he won't be blackmailed and will stand firm. I'm afraid your assertion that we have kangaroo courts and a Soviet system rests on the false grounds the PM is instructing or maybe steering the courts. I also think you know this perfectly well so you are basically deliberately misleading people who don't really understand how these things work. They are gullible and frustrated and you are preying on their vulnerability. Why don't you find yourself something useful to do?"
