Re: Celebrity Deaths
Bob Crow!
An old footballing team mate of mine!
He was a god to me.....he use to tell me stories of how he would bring an old dog back to his home, so he would rest his bollocks on her head and he would wank himself off whilst she licked his cսnt (his words not mine) and that's why I worshiped the ground he walked on!
RIP Skipper and Comrade xx

Re: Celebrity Deaths
As a young bloke we was out raving every week to Jungle and Drum and Bass and one of the top DJs was Randall. Loads on here probably heard of him. I never knew him personally but he evoked an era of my life that was untouchable. Just free and enjoying life. Randall was always my favourite and probably most other peoples. He sadly died very recently and I was totally gutted. Not only because he we was only a few years older then me so opens your eyes, but it just felt like a little part of that era died aswell. Funny how death affects you.

Gary Speed. He was the same age as me, and at the time I was going through a rough patch with my marriage ending so wasn't exactly in top form myself.

Re: Celebrity Deaths
I was devastated when Phil Lynott died, I had listened to his music from around the age of 15 and my Thin Lizzy albums were played non-stop in my bedroom, it felt like a real loss when it happened.

Re: Celebrity Deaths
Was a bit gutted when Roger Moore died as a big childhood hero as Bond. When Seve died it was sad. And wait for it..Maradona, say what you want but I preferred having him above ground. And David Bowie.

Kirsty MacColl
Great singer, song writer and person and to be violently and gorily killed in front of her two sons was made even more tragic by the guy responsible being able to put up a fall guy who got fined just £61 for it.

Re: Celebrity Deaths
When I was a dispatch rider a thousand years ago I was riding my trusty CX500 around Berkeley Square when I saw an Evening Standard board that simply said 'BOBBY MOORE DEAD'. I got off the bike with tears in my eyes (even though I never saw him play for West Ham, only Fulham) and took the headline away with me.
It was a bit of an odd reaction really as you can't exactly frame it and whenever I am digging through my old shit and I see it my gut drops. It was just somehow 'important'.
Two Keiths that made the world a little bit smaller were Keith Moon and Keith Flint. I think the Firestarter light tribute to Keith that The Prodigy do live is a touch of class.
