Will we develop Rush Green ?
The porter cabins are a little bit naff arnt they , i reckon Tim would be pushing for a new devolopment .
I would imgine to get state of the art facilities would cost the same amback up squad player amount as a back up squad player .
are there any plans to do so does anyone know ?

I really don’t think players care all that much about the training facilities.
The fact that Palace have better facilities sort of backs that up because I doubt that’s helped them sign any better players.
Ultimately, players are worried about how much they’re getting paid and that’s about it.

I can't remember a player or coach (past or present) ever saying that our facilities are shit or giving any impression that they have made any difference to anything.
In fact last season we were bottom of the days lost to injuries league so perhaps it doesn't make any difference in the overall scheme of things?
Our players as a rule always seem quite happy as a group and generally there is a good atmosphere... perhaps the down at heel facilities help that?
Having said that an upgrade, ideally a move to a new purpose built site, possibly outside the M25 can't do any harm. I've no idea where the players live and how a move would effect their commutes.

A school in the 80's wasn't a proper school if it didn't have terrapin huts somewhere on site.

I believe, like Chadwell Heath & Westlands Playing fields, it lies over significant gravel deposits and so is not likely to get anything resembling a permanent training structure for at least 50 or so years.

maybe so , but comparing to other clubs of our stature , and clubs a lot smaller have far better facilties. Palace are a good example .
I always think that kind of thing matters for recruitment as well as keeping players motivated .
