If you are a Star wars fan and have not seen the footage of Dave Prowse doing the voice of Vader in the initial shoot and then you see the re-master with JEJ's voice, then I urge you to. Not meant to be any criticism of Prowse, but it does emphasise the voice and how iconic it became with Vader.

A very distinctive look and voice, but can't say I was a fan as such. A good innings.

A tremendous actor who managed to switch from Chief Snake Man in Conan the Barbarian working alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger to Philip Banks in The Fresh Prince alongside jug-eared moron Will Smith, almost as though he were two different men.

Very much a silly cameo but I loved him as an impish prankster version of himself in The Big Bang Theory, playing knock down ginger on a gun-toting, grumpy Carrie Fisher.

Great fun.

Sad news! - Great actor with that distinctive voice

I loved his line in Coming to America, “Leave him, I shall deal with him myself”
