Premier League vs Man City - Predicted outcome
Premier League vs Man City - Predicted outcome
Apologies if a thread already exists but seeing the case now finally being heard, thought it time to predict what the outcome should be and will be.
115 charges.
My cynical opinion based on the power of wealth and the political need to not upset our Arab friends ( read investors) is a lot of talk about it being impossible to say categorically there were serious rule breaches, they were too long ago etc. There will be some breaches proved but these wont be enough for material points deductions that will relegate City but enough to dent their league campaign this or more likely next season. With their wealth they will be affected for a short while but not enough to relegate them. They will concentrate on winning cups and qualify for the champs league thru that route.
what should happen is what happened to Rangers in Scotland who were thrown down nearly into non league levels.

I've just read this article - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... rjv9ydv31o
They're facing some very serious allegations about a lot more than FFP, some which constitute as plain old fraud, and if they're proved they could end up paying billions to other clubs.
My predicted outcome is that they'll be chucked out of the prem, possible even out of the EFL.

Leicester getting away with it a few weeks ago set a precedent.
I expect Chelsea will be let off when it's their turn, also.

I enjoy citehs domination so I hope they get off and give the other teams their points back.
What acchievement is it winning the league when the best team was relegated.
It was in arsenal's hands the last 2 seasons and they blew it losing 9 pts to the claret and blue this season and they took more points of citeh with a win and a draw.

Haaland and co will not stick around in the summer if they are relegated. Lets face it, they'll get away with it with a slap on the wrist and suspended points deduction

Any clue how long this will take? Gut feeling is they will get found guilty but then there is the appeal process. Funny thing is though if they do get relegated they will be back soon enough, won't be the end of the world, it's not as if it hasn't happened before with Juve and Rangers being two examples.

I bet the Arabs have handed over the big brown envelope already.
