Everton
What a fucking car crash of a Club they have truly become. Just got knocked out the League Cup at home to Southampton, off the back of a horrific start to a new season.
Is this the season they finally go down, on the eve of going in to their new poncey Stadium next season? I do hope so.

Re: Everton
I hope Moyes does go back to Everton as he’ll be sure to take a few deadweights from us.
Only problem is, you just know Soucek and Antonio will score for them against us in a 2-0 loss.

Re: Everton
I strongly suspect if they put Moyes in there, it gets worse rather than better. He'll be Moyes @ Sunderland 2.0.
Never said it wouldn't get worse under Moyes, just they would finish above us.
Seriously, though, I think he would steady the ship and save them from relegation. Always thought he would go there after leaving us, even before their current woes. He might not be our cup of tea but for all his faults he is capable of turning around a team like Everton especially if he is given the opportunity to bring in a couple of players in January.

Re: Everton
There was a podcast on the Athletic about Everton the other week, the chat was largely 'how bad are things'.
They seemed fairly confident that the club will have new ownership before long, and the American fella at Palace seems to be making all the right noises.
Given that they owe something around £600m to 777/The Friedkin Group/RMF I dont see how you can buy them with any hope of making money.
My offer for the club would be £1.

Re: Everton
I don't see Moyes keeping them up if he goes in there.
He's no better than Dyche, doesn't play anymore resiliant or galvanising football than Dyche, and had us in largely relegation football for lots of periods. Everton have got a largely shithouse squad too.

Re: Everton
If Moshiri is confident of selling soon he may not bother to sack Dyche, just let the new owners decide, but fuck knows really, if they lose to Leicester at the weekend he may well pull the trigger.

100%. Moshiri has royally fucked it up and it ain't getting any better, anytime soon. I'm sure their new shiny stadium will look good in the 2nd Division, as I just don't see them escaping relegation this time around. The natives are rightly up in arms with how it's all being managed from top to bottom and Dyche is just as culpable to their recent demise rock bottom of the League, out the League Cup already in their swansong season at Goodison.

Don't want to be the doomster, but I am very concerned about the likelihood of Moyes taking that job before Christmas and them finishing above us. It's going to happen isn't it. You know it.

Re: Everton
Southgate hopefully... that would be soooo funny.
Re: Everton
2 for Everton, the RSPCA have banned Everton players from having dogs, they cannot keep hold of a lead, and, the Everton stewards have been informed to stop pitch invaders as they are getting man of the match awards.
Re: Everton
Ange Will be gone by the end of the season, My feeling is that Dyche will survive.
For me cone head at Man unt will be the first gone. Just a question of when they can find a replacement.

Re: Everton
For all his faults I think a Moyesiah return would probably keep them up. Dyche is toast.
Re: Everton
We've had to put up with some shit teams and managers but year upon year they don't seem to have anything to look forward to. Looking at their forums they're asking Beto or DCL to start up front, that's the least of their problems from the outside looking in. We get some shit for being negative as a fan base at times but that lot are always one pass away from booing. Can't help but laugh given they thought coming to us was a guaranteed 3 points (which it probably was for years). They've chased much better managers than Dyche out but ultimately they've got a really poor side after years of poor recruitment. The only player I'd take from them is Tarkowski. You know it's bad when a 35 Seamus Coleman plays every game

Re: Everton
Lucky? You finish where you deserve to finish over 38 games. But agree they will stay up again.
I've seen the old cliched ''it might do them good to go down'' nonsense being spouted by a few divs.
