I didn't say it was. If it had been given against us you'd have been furious wouldn't you? It would have been soft. We were shit, take it on yer chins.
CFC's Manager Maresca was on our books under the golfer wasn't he?..
CFC literally took the piss today, far to easy for them, bet they couldn't believe their luck .
They weren't even that great...decent ..yes..but they strolled it.
Most annoying thing is, you know that our forwards would have given that CFC defence some major problems if we had our shit together.
Really thought we’d get something today, and the payers would be fired up for this one. Already one nil down by the time I got in. The only real difference I can see with this bloke than the previous incumbent is he’ll make early changes. But not necessarily the right ones. It really won’t do confidence any good if we get a hiding on Wednesday. After today we need to see a big response from Loppy and the players.

Not sure taking our most attacking player Summerville of fuckin worked. He's a short arse, but great link up play and was a threat
Indeed. I said all summer when everyone was feeling themselves over 'guru Tim' and 'loser Lop' and what a great transfer window we supposedly had that Summerville would prove to be the only decent signing.
Looking like yet another thing I called correctly.I
Rodriguez is a fucking joke in the Premier League from what I've seen of him so far, bar the odd nice touch here and there. Permanently looks like he's running in treacle, looking totally lost and clueless chasing shadows most of the time. Just about the only call Lopetegui did get right was hooking him off after just half an hour. Fucking embarrassing display from him in yet another game that was passing him by doing dick all.
Soler on the other hand, yes fucking please. Just what I expected from him and think he will prove to a good signing once he's starting regularly. A very difficult game to come in too but he certainly looked the part trying to dictate play, spraying the ball about effortlessly and trying to get us playing again even though the game had already gone by then.
Special mention too for Irving. I want to see more of him this season as he didn't look bad to me.
Paqueta has lost the fucking plot too which really isn't helping, as everything is set up to flow thrpufh him. He needs to quickly regain his form and up his work rate as he's looking like a Conference League South player at the moment.

What the actual FUCK was that decision all about not awarding a stonewall Penalty for us (which could have made it 1-1 at the time)?!
I noticed the long blurb of rotting bollocks explanation flash up on "Europe's biggest Football tele's" waffling on about "Sustained holding". Sorry, what? Since when has holding full stop been acceptable in the game?? Contact in the game is one thing, jostling for position, nudges etc but physically restraining has never been acceptable in the game. If you want to wrestle, go grease yourself up making your homoerotic holds in WWF or the NFL if that's what you think is acceptable in those sports, but not Football. The game is well and truly fucked if this is the way it's going with VAR only compounding the whole issue too the way it's used.
No one will ever convince me that incident wasn't a stone wall penalty decision and stinks to high heaven of corruption.
Just watched the Sky highlights. It ain't a pen and even if it was we would have still been trailing 2-1. It made zero difference to the result because we were just so fucking bad.

It was an absolutely shocking performance. Teams just rip us to shreds on the counter. There is no pressure on the ball, no one puts a tackle in and players just stroll about. This is all in the loser fraud masquerading as our manager. Could easily have been 0-8 on chances.
And Paqueta can fuck off too. Bloke is a waste of space and total liability.
told you so what? you wanted to stick with a manager that shipped nearly 80 fucking goals in the league last season, all the while playing defensive football. you're a simple cսnt that supported a manager over the team/club
I was in the minority that wasn't expecting much from this one, we've been pretty awful all season against everyone so didn't think we'd suddenly be good but fucking hell I was expecting some fucking improvement. Second game in a row the manager (yeah whatever) has got it badly wrong and it doesn't seem to matter which combination of slow wankers he puts out they're hopeless with so signs of improvement.
I'm really starting to wonder about this geezer now, it's just hapless. Is he experimenting? Is there a plan? How bad must Todibo be?
Positives? Summerville wafted about a bit and looked like Benrahma on a half decent day. Maybe all the 'play Bowen up top' bellends will shut the fuck up now? He was rubbish up there again.
Negatives. Fuckin everything from playing Mavro again, the tactics, the subs, the personnel we've bought that are all fucking slow and/or old, Soppy bollocks' stupid fucking th th th th scorchio pidgin English fucking accent, the baseless optimism pre game of divs, conceding two Nick fucking Jackson goals when he's an absolute fucking donkey..... etc.
You just can't take anyone seriously. While they are being introduce.(Babbling Irons.) And acting like Rosie Jones tribute act. Lopetegui may not be "The Spanish Moyes." Thank fuck. But he certainly got more than a whiff of "The Spanish Allardyce.!" about him.

I'm not going to entertain any "Lop-out" bandwagon yet. I predicted this might be a season of struggle to try and get away from the Moyes philosophy. New manager, new players, new style, it does not happen overnight. We wanted this change, we need to knuckle down, get behind it and have a little faith.
That said, today did have me worried. Two very soft goals had us beaten inside twenty minutes. Paqueta has been a waste of space and is just not having the impact we need him to have. Mavropanos is a defensive liability. Some baffling substitutions, almost the experimental sort you make playing a non league side pre season, including taking off Summerville who was a bright spot resorting back to the old guard. I don't see us scoring enough goals and have a feeling Fulkrug is not going to be the answer either
Lop has to get down to work on the training ground and sort this out, and we desperately need one or two more in January too.
Moyes left us with a old squad, limited ability players and no European football. Recruiting with that background was always going to be hard. I'm not sure these players are anywhere near the level they need to be to win more than they lose. For me they need to be more together. Goals today were comical and really easy. I dont want to watch defensive football but I do expect some basic abilty to track your man and tackle.
