Never understood the need for subsections of a fan base of anything to gravitate towards sub-groups based on their sexual preferences. I've been to football matches with both men and women of both sexual directions and never has the need for intercourse mid-match cropped up.

I find it frankly ludicrous that 'the gays' are still a thing in London 2024. Especially at the bleached and disinfected stadium who's incumbents love the idea of dual income no kids people having more money to piss away on on £85 tickets that us ugly cunts who have followed the club FROM BIRTH and can't really afford.

the thing is though that the people occupying the posh £85 a ticket seats seldom make any noise or contribute anything to the atmosphere, be they gay, Chinese, Korean, American half and half scarves etc means a steady drip, drip drip away from ever really generating the electric atmospheres we SOMETIMES got at UP.

I have never in my 50 years of going to West Ham ever heard ANYTHING intentionally directly against gays. Plenty of 'get up you poof', 'you bent cսnt', and other shit directly shouting at players but nobody has ever took a clump for being a gay supporter that I know of. I should know,  in the 80s/90s I was a proper punk rocker with black spikey hair and sometimes wearing eye liner, like Jimmy from Quadrophina.

Everyone was cool as fuck about it. Loads of people knew me as 'that punk kid' and I would get stuck in if needs be, especially away. Even the National Front skinheads (who I was always having tear-ups with outside of a Saturday afternoon) seemed to realise that you were a West Ham supporter first and all the other shit was for another day.

You might not agree with some tribes that follow West Ham but the biggest thing is that they are West Ham.
