Not sure they will be a push over and 3 points, another draw may well be on the cards?
Huge game for Lope. Lose this and I think he will go. Even a draw where we look disorganised won't go down well. He needs a solid convincing win at this stage.
Nah, there’s no way he goes after a handful of matches - but I do see your point about this particular match and think that if we don’t win, a huge number of supporters will decide they are no longer giving him a chance and if that happens, West Ham supporters tend to stick with that view forever and he’ll never win them over no matter what happens afterwards.
LOSE THIS AND IT WILL COME ON TOP FOR LOP.
THAT WOULD  BE FOUR STRAIGHT HOME DEFEATS...SIMPLY NOT ACCEPTABLE.

On the positive side we are unbeaten away from home in the premier after 3 away local derbies and we are due a win at home

The fact Ipswich are yet to win a game who better to face in their next game than the ever accommodating West Ham, especially if they play like they did against Villa. Philips nailed on to score as well. Really looking forward to Saturday me. Plan is to get pissed beforehand then it can be a blur.

Yeah - I think that's what I meant. Maybe not go straight after Ipswich game. But a poor performance and loss could well see any 'on the fencers' jumping over into the 'not having him' group. If that happens it could only be a matter of time. As you say, West Ham fans do tend be a stubborn lot and once they form an opinion its pretty hard to change. I suppose that's the way for most footy fans to be honest.

Either way, huge game for Lope. And for West Ham in general. As others have said, a poor performance and loss could well see this being a miserable season. A good performance and win could well be the catalyst for a decent season. All to play for.

Ipswich have been the most resilient of the promoted teams
Lost to Liverpool & Man City but have drawn at home to Fulham & Villa & away to Brighton & Southampton
We have to win though to start to change the mood
With Todibo & Kilman finally paired & players like Paqueta, Bowen & Kudus we have no excuses

If we can’t get 3 points off Ipswich then I’m afraid we’re in for a torrid time this season, particularly if Lopetegui sticks around for a few more months.
