It's not actually worth anyone's time watching. Gave up after 4 episodes, how on earth it got dragged out to 10 episodes. I'll never understand. One poor cսnt in work  has endured 9 episodes despite admitting it is crap.
You do have to wonder about someone who admits something is pretty crap but then still maintains it's 'worth a watch', as if it's 30 minutes long and not the best part of 10 hours. mental.

Manuel,

I wonder at someone who is a thick cսnt and doesn't understand English. Where did I say it was crap? I just said drawn out which you can say about just about all serioes these days.

Any way you are not in a position to critises anyone after what one of the mods told me about you..haha

What is it in Slow Horses that when a colleague is murdered it's generally greeted with just a shrug of the shoulders or even a quip, edginess gone way too far. It is still decent compared to some other stuff, but suspect series 5 will be the last one.

Frankie Pankie" wrote: 03 Oct 2024, 17:54 Currently streaming Fight Night on Peacock (NBC in America) its a true story surrounding the Black mafia after an Ali fight in Atlanta, its hilarious and 100% recommend it.
I'm 4 episodes in and am loving Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist.  Great cast, Don Cheadle, Samuel L Jackson, Kevin Hart amongst others.  A dramatized account of what went on around the Quarry v Ali fight back in the 70's.  Superb stuff!  Do yourselves a favour and watch it!

The Penguin is superb so far, Farrell is outstanding.
Very different from what I was expecting.
I didn't realise this is the  work of Matt Reeves.
I havent seen his version of Batman ,  apparently his Batman version will be a trilogy and will tie in with the Penguin

Reeves' version of Batman is VERY good imo. Far darker than Nolans, which I also rate highly.
Yea I agree Mary.
Nolan's trilogy was very good..(the second was the best imo).
this Reeves fella is playing a blinder so far , I'm impressed

I agree, Manuel, Slow Horses is already tiring, though a 5th series is already in the can.

I've watched the first 3 (of four) of Four Kings. Very good indeed.  Sad in many ways, too.

Another one for Four Kings, one of the best sports documentaries I've ever watched, very nostalgic given the era of 90's early 00's and for most of us Londoners 4 boxers we would all have had a vested interest in one way or another. Fucking loved it.

Also on Prime watched Breaking Dad: Britains most unlikely drug dealer. What a mental story and well worth watching.

I thought the first two series of Slow Horses was very good, then I said on here that from the third series it went downhill with ridiculous storylines and was told on here that I was being too much of a critic and of course the plots shouldn't be anything like real life etc. Started the fourth and it's still OK but how many times is it meant to be funny when Oldman farts or says something controversial?

Swiss, what channel is Paris Has Fallen on?

I liked Colin From Accounts too on the Beeb.  I thought the second series was ok too, unlike Manners.

Industry is a little bit closer to a truth and a story that relates to me than Braking Bad. It's about my city. It's about class. It's about sex. It's about money. It's about London. It's about changes in culture. Its fucking great.
