Still can't get over them horrific events in Israel, women, children, elderly kidnapped, raped and butchered. R,I.P. to all the victims and comfort and love to all the families.

Now start arguing

it’s worth pondering as to why Hamas chose to do what it did when knowing full well the wrath of Israeli would be devastating.. in addition it has to be asked what went on in the minds of Israeli Intelligence and the IDF given that they knew what was coming.
That reads like somebody who wants Israel to take the full blame for all the wrongs in the world.

Whether or not the Israeli government/intelligence knew about the plan or not, it was not them who carried out the attack.

This could have all ended on Oct 8th 2023, what should have happened is that Hamas released all hostages and surrendered after realising the gravity of their mistake and the dangerous position they'd put those they govern and are responsible for in. Every death and injury from the moment they decieded not to is on them.

Has anyone of any relevance suggested that the Hamas action on October 7th last year was not such a good idea after all?

Pretty much the most horrific piece of television I've ever watched,  not condoning the Israeli reaction to the events of a year ago but it just seems an unending cycle of violence and death.

wils wrote: 07 Oct 2024, 17:24 I watched the BBC documentary on the attack on the Nova festival on Saturday night. Has some incredible (if you can call it that!) footage from both Hamas body cams and the iPhones of the festival goers. Some footage of the Israelis in a road side bunker when Hamas come along and start throwing Grenades in there. They threw them out 8 times before Hamas got the timing right.

The contrast of the air heads at the festival coming face-to-face with the pure evil of Hamas terrorists is surreal. It would have looked far fetched in a Hollywood film.

RIP our four by two friends.
