To me it was obvious that we needed to get rid of Moyes. So we appointed the wrong fella, I can accept that. Get rid of Lopp and lets move forward not backwards....all you cunts that want Moyes back can do one, the football under Moyes was turgid shit.

Agree with you, Miike, but I’ll give him a pass on Pellegrini as it was a bold approach for a Prem winner at the time after we had all been bored stupid by Moyes. It was an expensive disaster but most of us were pleased with the appointment at the time and didn’t predict how it would turn out.

However, that expensive mistake is being repeated right now and you most certainly can blame Sullivan this time, and Lopetegui wasn’t top of anyone’s list.

Countdown to one of Sullivan’s favourite channels having a story that Lopetegui has ‘3 games to save his job’ etc etc.

Or ‘he’s not in immediate danger but the board expects improvements’.

Its all so obvious.

Anyone calling for a Moyes return needs locking up. The football under him was dire and we were getting battered more heavily than under Lop.

I’d go for the Spanish guy at Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola

There are plenty of capable coaches out there who could get a tune out of this squad.
The problem is the midget prick making the decisions.

The best you could hope for is someone like Potter, but realistically you’d get Rafa or the Jock dinosaur back.

Simpletons like joyo or twoleftfeet are desperate for another go at sitting deep and getting pumped by Crystal Palace.

Being reported that it was West Ham that decided to get Lopetegui rather than Amorim. Apparently we had the money and the option to bring in Amorim, but West Ham decided he didn't have enough experience with no experience outside of Portugal and so we went for Lopetegui.

The big problem is that it’s Sullivan choosing the likes of Moyes & Loppy
We beat Villa in an abysmal game a couple of years ago & they sacked Gerrard for Emery. We kept Moyes

I see Iraola has beaten Arsenal & Man City & drawn at Villa in the last month with Bournemouth
Very impressive young manager with perfect English. Sullivan wouldn’t know him from a bar of soap

El Scorchio" wrote: 02 Nov 2024, 15:56 We will need to be in much deeper relegation trouble to force the dwarf to put his hand in his pocket and fork out compensation. Look how long he clung to Moyes. Add to that he hates being wrong more than losing and this would be a big admission of it. Even then the next appointment will be the cheapest available or someone recommended by a friendly agent rather than objectively the best man for the job or the man Stiedten thinks his philosophy aligns with best so everything actually works in harmony. EVEN then he will still be fuckjng interfering and going over Stiedten’s head with transfers when he wants.

Man U may be a shambles but they didn’t fuck about or go for a compromise. As long as Sullivan is about we will never not be a clown show.
It was not that long ago, when we flirted with 4th and Arsenal couldn't buy a win, when there wasn't much between us on paper and in playing staff. The difference in our trajectories since that time has been down to one thing. Stewardship.

This fish rots from the head down, and it always will until we finally get an owner serious about success. Until then get used to mid-table-occasional-flirt-with-relegation level football.

🤣 glad I touched a nerve, but anyone who thinks Moyes should come back and that Bowen is overrated and who enjoys Spurs winning has no place on this forum... so keep your mad opinions to yourself thanks!!!
Nothing to do with me wanting all London clubs to do well!

idiot!

Oh I do apologise must be a different Ladysmith that started this thread about London clubs...

viewtopic.php?p=413458#p413458

Which states.... and I quote
"Not a good weekend for the London premiership clubs as all of them lost apart from Spurs. How often does only 1 team win?

Of course for someone like myself that likes to see all of them do well, due to the amount of London derbys I will never be totally happy.

Let's hope the Gunners start to regain some form so they can start challenging City again.
"

I'd sue if I was you thats libellous!!!

Forgetful idiot!!!!

There is other criteria.
4. Must have previously managed at a big club, no matter how successfully.
5. Must have managed previously in the Premier League. Again, less important how successful they were.

Sullivan will never push the boat out and take a chance with a young, up and coming manager. The closest he came was Bilic.

Ten Hag is worth considering, did great stuff at Ajax, just not so much with the prima doona set in Manchester! did manage a Cup though.
