It all went sour after Wilson let Manson and his fellow free loaders stay with him and they trashed his house and car. Apparently the final straw was when Manson showed Wilson a bullet and asked him what it was. Manson then told him to be glad his kids were safe. Wilson then went mad, beat the shit out of Manson and physically threw him out of his house. The guy was extremely lucky to survive the carnage that followed!

Apparently, he was due to visit Sharon Tate’s house on the evening of the Manson Murders, but forgot the appointment!
He nearly lived in the house before that, too but wanted to buy it and the owners were only willing to rent so he moved to another house nearby, instead.

Just read that.

Not exactly thrilled at the news - produced some great music in his time.
