I think if there were signs of progress, he'd be given time from the fans and the chairman. But there are no signs of progress, it has been shit from the off.

That old chestnut but maybe some truth in it. So the season is done, he will pick up the odd point or 3 and keep us around 15th. Why bother going over there anymore just to be bored in the cold? Why bother to keep saying the same things on here? We're done.

To summarise, the season is over. We won't go down, we will stick with this cսnt of a manager, nick the odd win and finish 15th. That's what we have to look forward to.

AWB is a strange one, is he actually any good? Anyone know? Todibo looks ropey to me too.

Today's game was undoubtedly poor, with no redeeming features. In some way, drawing 0-0 at home to a weak Everton is a worse performance than the defeat to an in-form Forest. We are getting worse and not improving.

Can anyone explain why he persists on starting with Paqueta so forward he is useless and the altogether useless Antonio at all? Once Paqueta dropped deeper and Ings came on, we looked like something approaching a football team and could have won the game. But this is obvious stuff - why does he persist in getting it wrong?

As for Coufal for AWB. Do me a favour!

i do think there are signs of life, but it's not a great life. like someone whose been in a near fatal car crash and has a positive outlook of possibly being able to hold a pen and eat solid foods within the next 6-12 months.

The first half passing was simply appalling
Gave the ball away again & again & seemed to have no idea what they were trying to do
Slightly better second half but still pedestrian
AWB’s reaction to being subbed shows what the players think of him
Just dismal body language throughout as though they have given up on him

If he could tell us exactly what the problem is I’d be like ok you can stay. But I know he can’t. He can’t explain why we are a shit football team. He’s had a pre season, money spent, a load of games etc. and he should be able to explain in great detail why we are shit.

that’s all I want to hear from him. Otherwise later.

Was unlucky not to have scored too hitting the post after a great pass from Paqueta, for once.

We didn't tighten up defensively at all. It's just that Everton are appalling going forward. Huge difference

Simply not good enough.

We have tightened up defensively keeping a clean sheet and bar a rare moment of real quality, we lacked most of the time in the final 3rd. We did look good finally when Ings was on for the last 20 minutes which was encouraging but he should be starting and that's on Lopetegui for continually overlooking him.

Paqueta continues to kill us too which is nothing new, wanting him dropped also.

Pickford did prevent us from winning with some excellent saves, which again was frustrating/encouraging.

There was 1 lovely move 1st half that I thought OK that's more like the Football I recognise by Lopetegui before us but it's in short supply which is frustrating. I can see them trying to play his way and it continues to splutter and false start. It either clicks soon or he will be fucked off. Up to him and the players to sort it out during the 2 week break and make it happen or it will end with him getting the boot...

Antonio has the worst first touch in football.

Paqueta looked to be playing deeper, gives him the space to turn on the ball which helps. Although he lagged in attack.

Pickford pulls off save of the season at the end. Great save!

Dour game to watch, We’re not even close to being a decent team. The lack of effort and exertion stands out.

Hope they figure it out soon I’m fucking sick of it.

The lack-of-clean sheet streak is broken? But as many have said, pure dross all over the pitch. Any side with a decent midfielder will go right through is.

Just dreadful

I honestly don't know what they do at training.

No shape, no plan and some of the worst set plays I've ever seeen.

When Lopetegui was carded everyone around us was asking for a red... and a ban
