What west Ham players were perhaps not good enough but always played and were always popular through sheer graft.

And do these players always end up with an ironic song!?
Christian Dailly the first like this I remember, although perhaps my memory fails me and he actually was good all along!

Start at 1985 and work backwards, our team was always stuffed with these type of players.
But they wanted to play and gave their all for the shirt.
Admittedly at this time they were surrounded by some true talent and that must of helped.
On the subject of true talent I always thought we'd have a Brooking or a Bonds in the team. They're gone and we'll never see their like again.
The cunts we have can go fuck themselves for all I care

Patsy Holland.
OK, perhaps "Not good enough" is a little unfair, given who he played alongside, but always a 100% man.

Yep George “takes no shit” Parris is the obvious one.
Pikey, Neil Orr a couple of others. Unsung grafters who worked hard in midfield
exactly what we are missing now albeit in the modern Premiership they need to be very fast, strong and be able to trap a bag of cement

George Parris. Not the most technical of players but always gave his all and had some great moments in a west ham shirt.
