Loved Holyfield. Much better Boxer than Tyson. Tyson had phenomenal power and some decent moves but for me Holyfield was a more talented 'Boxer'.

He had 3 career defining fighters at his time, that would have cemented him as an all time great,  Bowe (wouldn't fight) Lewis (put off fighting him till he had no choice) and Holyfield (who showed him who really was the baddest man around) So his record against the best of his time was zero wins.

 

 

Even as a massive Tyson fan back in the day, very hard to disagree with the majority of this mate.

My one caveat being big Riddick.
May be old age playing tricks with my melon, but thought they didn't share a professional ring as they were school friends and didn't want to fight each other?
Also not too sure how much Holyfield took out of Bowe in the second bout, whilst Tyson was banged up.
Apart from Golota and (argueably) Hyde, Bowe had no serious victories after the second Holyfield bout.
May well be wrong regarding all of the above, but respect your opinion fella.

Bowe v Tyson was down more to him being in Prison when Bowe was champion than anything else, yet Bowe never wanted a piece of Lewis, which is why he never gets rated highly in a "greatest heavyweight" list either.
