some proper old school names being mentioned TBF.
I'd have Andy Goram as my keeper

Re: Best of Britain.
I’d have Pearce as my captain. Ashley Cole was good but Pearce was better to watch and got stuck in more.
Thought about Kyle Walker but he’s cost England a couple of goals in the last two world cups because he wasn’t tight on his man.
It was a choice of Gerard or Souness and Charlton or Gazza.
Law Or Giggs. Although I did like Chippy Brady.
Bale, Best and Greaves were shoe ins.
I always thought Dalglish was somewhat overrated. Ian Rush would be my 1st Sub.

Bit rich from the site spastic-pretend-bender. Nobody thinks you’re speaking your mind, it’s the worst attempt at a regular wind up since the Twinhammers

Re: Best of Britain.
Based upon everything I've read/heard down the years, I would have thought Duncan Edwards alongside Moore would have been the ideal partnership.

Chivers?
ha ha ha
No place for Vinny Samways or Colin Lee?
Brooking ahead of Hoddle. The tiny shorted, bubble permed pea heart

Re: Best of Britain.
I would put Gazza and Hoddle in front on those 2 midfielders.
I would put Hansen in front of Either Rio or Bobby.
Not sure you can put Greaves and Best in the same team - maybe Kane or Chivers as an out and out forward?
Neville - do me a favour. I would play Kyle Walker and yet I am sure there is someone better.
Pearce - good shout but both Kenny Samson and Ashley Cole were better players.

Re: Best of Britain.
The only World Cup winning Striker to ever score in a World Cup Final (amongst other domestic and European Trophies) has to be in there. Fuck Greaves.
And Giggs was better than Bale.
And Walker over Neville.
Ashley Cole over Pearce.
Scholes over Gerrard.
Gazza for Law.
Banks too.
