LEICESTER CITY vs CHELSEA (1230)
The Foxes may be in 15 spot, but they still face a challenge to maintain their place in the top flight. Chelsea, in third, have built on last season’s promise and will hope to add more points in their unlikely hunt for second. Away win.

BOURNEMOUTH vs BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION (1500)
There are six places but just four points between these two. And with home advantage, you’d expect the Cherries to start favourites. But Brighton won’t give in easily. Draw.

ARSENAL vs NOTTINGHAM FOREST (1500)
Incredibly, both these sides are level on points, thanks largely to the hosts’ propensity for generosity.
Arsenal can’t be happy with their early season form and this is exactly the type of fixture that they will look to for maximum points. Forest, though, aren’t the pushover they were a year ago. Home win.

ASTON VILLA vs CRYSTAL PALACE (1500)
Villa are ninth but just a single point from the top three. Palace, meanwhile, are in the bottom three and there’s between little and nowt to suggest they’ll improve things today. Home win.

EVERTON vs BRENTFORD (1500)
The Toffees have scratched their way out of the relegation zone, but still have a job to do to stay out of it. On the other hand, Brentford have messed up royally this season, having lost all their away games. Home win.

FULHAM vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1500)
If Fulham had held on to their lead over us a few weeks ago, they’d only have Liverpool and Man City above them. But ifs and buts don’t win football games. Just ask Gary O’Neil, whose side sit second from bottom and looking at a relegation battle. Things don’t look too rosy for them. Home win.

MANCHESTER CITY vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (1730)
Clearly the game of the day. City have fouled up of late and Spurs, currently 10th, could end the day in 14th. Should be a good game, but is this the time that the hosts pull their socks up? Yep. Home win.

SUNDAY

SOUTHAMPTON vs LIVERPOOL (1400)
Bottom plays top. What else do you expect? Away win.

IPSWICH TOWN vs MANCHESTER UNITED (1630)
The hype around Man U’s new boss may soon prove to be justified and they’ll be pleased with what the fixture computer has calculated for them today. The Tractor Boys won’t. Away win.

MONDAY

NEWCASTLE UNITED vs WEST HAM UNITED (2000)
A cold, Monday night game in the far northeast. Not what we’d really want. Home win.

I fink Man City know what's coming down the pipe .
IF that is the case , the attitude of their players sums up the modern game.
Angling out already no doubt.

Man City without Rodri are a completely different team. It’s incredible how much they miss him.

As for Spurs, fuck them. They still lose to shit like Crystal Palace and Ipswich.

cսnt board. cսnt team. cսnt fanbase. That's pretty much the context anyone needs to know about N17.

Depends on context. I'd say the Spurs board room is absolutely in a different league to ours. So is their stadium (which is a function of their ownership).  And so is their team and manager as things stand (again largely a function of their ownership).

Their Club's standing in the game, fanbase, etc. Not so much.  But in a few key, important areas...I tend to agree with Ladysmith...which is on Sullivan given our resources are not hugely different to theirs.

Yeah, they are. We win Trophies in the modern era, whereas they clearly don't. I'd definitely call that being in a different league to them.

Sullivan would NEVER have gone near Ange with a barge pole (only done it in weak leagues, unproven, etc).

The day Sullivan hands over the reigns at this club, for whatever reason that might be, will be a day then hope is at least restored.

While he's defacto CEO, we're totally fucked by the most terrible of leadership from the top.
Interesting that’s a lot of Spurs fans I know say exactly the same about their owners - no ambition.

That said, we can’t compare ourselves to Spurs as they have always been in a different league to us.

Walker just did what I think he should do more of, which is whip it into the box. He’s mullered it straight out for a goal kick. He should have checked back.

Would have expected to see some urgency from Manchester City, but currently it’s still pretty much the same intricate and short passing with lots of sideways movement.

Would be much more exciting if they wanged it into the box more often - I admit that I’d make a terrible manager.

0-3 is mental. City have been terrible, but by equal measure Tottenham have been v good.

Pep out? Maybe this is the beginning of the end of Guardiola style tactics (which I find very boring btw)
