Re: Brighton V Southampton
I thought that offsides and VAR were supposed to make a decision within a minute or so, what's changed?
Re: Brighton V Southampton
I don’t have any problem with the decision. He was clearly offside and going for the ball in the middle of the goal, causing the defender to go with him. The offside rule seems to be too complicated these days. Unless you are clearly not looking for the ball, it should be offside.
Anyway, that is not really the point in VAR. The linesman gave it offside. VAR should have a maximum of 30 seconds to look at it. If it isn’t conclusive, go with the on-field decision. Taking five minutes is absolute bollocks. It takes all the enjoyment out of the game.

I heard that too but just watched it and it did look offside, the ball went behind Armstrong in an offside position and he flicked his leg back and tried to contact it, but missed. Oh and the lino has flagged so would have been ruled out VAR or not.

Re: Brighton V Southampton
I read there was some VAR nonsense to rob Southampton of a win. Fucking hate VAR. They should definitely ban VAR from giving opinions, just leave them with the lines and shitty calculations. They are fucking tools, I much prefer in match ref errors to calculated time consuming errors from these prats.

I'd definitely have him instead of that donkey Rodriguez in the Squad. As back-up I felt he was more than good enough for us.
Nice finish for their goal too in earning a decent draw away at high flying Brighton.
