Next 5 games | How many points?
So Lopetegui finally has his run of 'winnable' games:
Leicester (A) - 3 points
Wolves (H) - 3 points
Bournemouth (A) - 1 points
Brighton (H) - 1 points
Southampton (A) - 3 points
Before we get fucked by the fixture list either side of New Year's (Liverpool into Man City).
11 points, unbeaten in 5, and taking some form into the New Year has to be the target/acceptable outcome. Less than 3 wins here should be totally unacceptable. Would leave us at half way on 26 points, in line to match last season's 52 point finish (9th), but with a springboard to challenge higher if the team is getting it's act together (and another striker fit).
How do you all see these results going?

Re: Next 5 games | How many points?
There are 6 teams below us in the league.
We only need to match 3 of them game-for-game for Sullivan's business objectives to be fully met.
So it is written, so it shall be.

Re: Next 5 games | How many points?
I can easily see three away defeats coming up, might scrape a draw at Southampton I suppose. Scrape a win at home against Wolves and a draw at home against Brighton. So 5 points for me.
Relegation battle ahead.

5pts from these games. 3 of those probably coming from Leicester.
So enough points to keep Lop's job without any discernible improvement. I am getting more disillusioned than I ever was under Moyes.

Dog - Don't be silly mate, no chance we end up with only 2 points from these 5, we saw at Newcastle what can happen, and that was Newcastle.
Looking into my crystal ball I'll go 7 points.

Re: Next 5 games | How many points?
Leicester 1
wolves 1
bournmouth 0
Brighton 0
Southampton 0
*assuming we still have the idiot in charge and the team not exactly putting in a shift for him
And frankly I think the 2 points are ambitious

OK I will give you my predictions
Leicester (A) - 3 points - quite possibly!
Wolves (H) - 3 points - quite possibly!
Bournemouth (A) - 0 points - they are a better team with a better manager
Brighton (H) - 0 points - again better team
Southampton (A) - 1 point - has a draw written all over it!

Re: Next 5 games | How many points?
lets be honest, all those games could go 1 of 3 ways. Very difficult to predict as is a lot of the premiership at the moment.
What I do see happening and based on the law of probabilities is that we will at least lose 1 of those games.
