Leicester City vs West Ham (League) | 3.12.24 | Predictions & Lineup
Leicester away. First game for Van Nistelhorse, so they'll be bouncing but also allowing the new manager a free hit to get to know his team, so it's one we have to capitalise on.
With Wolves to follow, nothing less than 4, and really 6 points from these next two fixtures can be considered enough.
Team for me should be:
Fabianski
Wan Bissaka
Todibo
Kilman
Emerson
Soler
Soucek
Paqueta
Bowen
Kudus
Summerville
Antonio can barely play two games in a row, let alone two games in 4 days. Ings lacks pace and strength although has proven himself a capable sub, and Kudus has pretty much the best dribbling take on stats in world football and is famed for his strength on the ball, so needs to be pushed up front.
This is now the sharp end for Lopetegui, with 5 games to be putting us in contention for the second half of the season at the right end of the table. Fail, and he'll be on his way in all likelihood.
Suspect this is a high scoring game....Vardy always a threat in behind, and we'll no doubt be trying to take it to them.
3-2 to West Ham...and on to Gary O'Wall's Wolves.
COYI.

fuck knows what we will serve up against Leicester, but you would have to think we can realistically win this one, certainly have the personnel to do so and comfortably.
Line up is anyone's guess, they all deserved to keep their places after Newcastle but not so sure after Arsenal.
scoreline, sorry but despite saying think we can win it, can see another confused performance and gifting them a goal or 2 so will be a draw, 1-1 or 2-2.
hope im wrong and we stuff them, but not sure that's good in the long run, only kicks the managers sacking down the road.

What's weird about the Arsenal game, is apart from the freak half an hour or so, which was all down to Lopetegui how he asked them to start the game, is that the Team then went on to play alright, scoring twice and drawing the 2nd half 0-0 still trying to score. But to show Arsenal way too much respect to begin with was stupid.
Should have got them bang at it flying out the gates and I reckon Arsenal wouldn't have liked it. Instead he asked them to back off like intimidated fannies.

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham (League) | 3.12.24 | Predictions & Lineup
KeepDreaming’s team is the one I would go with. Fab vs Areola is the only question as both have weaknesses on crosses and seems Fab is now better with his feet than Areola ( both ate poor with their feet ).
Kudus centrally has to be tried. As a false 9 or whatever. Might not work but you never know. He’s strong and good on both feet and has pace.
Not confident though in any game. Leicester will see how slow we move the ball and sit back and counter.
miserable season yet again

Re: Leicester City vs West Ham (League) | 3.12.24 | Predictions & Lineup
I don't really get the issues with Kilman. The guy has been pretty immense so far (especially when you consider how exposed the defence has been).
As for him as a player, he was top 10 for % Aerial Dules won last season, also top 10 for blocks made, top 5 for % success tackling dribblers. He's an all round fantastic defender, and that's before thinking about his ability on the ball.
This season he is 19th on aerial duels won. Havertz and short players like Guehi out perform him. Souck has won almost double his numbers. Why do you think most set pieces are headed away by Soucek and not either center back when Mavrapanos isn't playing?
