That was 100% a penalty and UEFA is German- centric. A bit like the EU.

Keep giving the ball to teams and they will score. Dithering Dave too late with substitutions.

Delighted we lost and I hate saying that. Shown up for being a piss poor team against a european minnow. This game has nothing to be excited about. Penalty or not we ahouldnt be talking about that being a factor. I have zero emotion for this performance or the team is general. Maybe I just dont care anymore which is a weird thing to say when West Ham has played a huge part of my life for 40 years.

"Bent ref. Blatant penalty going by the rules and precedent this season. cսnt overrules VAR, how many times has that happened, once I recall, think it was against us too. Typical of our shitcunt luck."

Didn't even bother watching but can confirm it takes 2 hours and 15 minutes for paint to dry. Did I miss a thoroughly entertaining attacking display?

"62 - exactly! Absolutely no self awareness or reflection from Hutchison tonight. Hilarious that he’s not going to criticise West Ham fans, then reels off the reasons why he thinks Moyes is great and by doing that is essentially criticising the fans that want him out. What a twat."

Not quite sure how we lost that. Freiburg are average at best and we should have more than enough next week. Unlucky to hit post / keeper made a top save from Bowen and a few very poor efforts. Not sure Fab had a save to make then they score at the end. Think all agree that’s a definite pen in current rules. Makes second leg interesting. Should at least means it sells out now. Need a big atmosphere and early goal

"Very poor goal conceded. Alvarez mistake trying to play thru the middle but ultimately Zouma’s lack of awareness and static lets the sub score a tap in. The German coach rolled the dice early with his sub and we didnt adjust or simply Zouma tiring and asleep. Bowen awful first half but livened up second half. We had no cutting edge attacking although Paqueta ( who was awful for a lot of of the game) had a decent chance. Aside from Bowen’s left footed effort we only had Kudus creating anything with some decent crosses. But overall toothless and set up not to concede which is great unless you concede. Germans werent too good going forward but like every team can keep the ball from the slow paced West Ham. The penalty was not a deliberate hand ball but in the Premiership thats given as his hand is not in a natural position and ultimately the bloke stops Soucek’s ball going back in the area. Basically the voiciferous crowd and last seconds, the ref shat himself and was a “homer” and totally bottled it. Otherwise, not much to say. Lots of “ok” or average performances. But other than Kudus we lack pace and power and a “spark” going forward. Midfield containing Soucek and JWP and even Paqueta today struggled. Moyes euro luck has possibly run out. Everyone expects us to turn them over at home but they will keep the ball and if we dont score early we will get desperate, try to force it and be vulnerable defensively esp with poor old Zouma. No Emerson and Johnson being punished for not renewing on our terms ( wages) so Cresswell against their quickest and trickiest player?"

Hutchison defending and praising Moyes at the start of the game. By the end he's criticising his substitutions and negativity. See Don? That's what we mean.

"That decision was a fucking joke. In today's game, that's 100% a pen. Having said that, that's what happens when you play defensive fucking football and don't take your chances Antonio on in the 90th minute? What the fuck was that?"

Moyes's choices of subs were suspect in the past and in tonight's game the timing of the subs were suspect too. Not very good at substitution malarky is he.
