Surprised Paqueta has been dropped. He was good at Newcastle but poor against Arsenal, but you could say that about several. This puts more onus on Soler for midfield creativity, but fair enough - he's been improving.

I think we'll win this match comfortably. Leicester are dreadful and we have shown signs of improvement that lead me to think we'll demolish some team when it clicks. I may, of course, be very wrong but that's my thoughts on the matter.

We've always had a separate Predicitons and Match Thread.  Just keeping up the tradition there.

If there's a groundswell of opinion that there should only be one thread per match that covers predictions and the match itself fine by me (will save me the job of creating two separate threads each fixture).

I'll run a poll on it after this game to see what consensus is.

I think it worked pretty well last season when Charley started doing the match thread early (the day after the previous game IIRC) but as you say best run a poll...or even a Pole.
