NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

i'd have thought he may have a specialist with him to deal with these parasitic college agents, as I doubt he'd have the patience for the ridiculous demands they throw at these colleges now
Yeah, he's definitely going to lose patience with the agents and hangers on, who are even worse at college level because there's an even bigger gulf between lack of talent and naked ambition. Would not be surprised if he recruits his son or someone else to deal with that. Imagine him in a room full of agents for 18-year-old kids - most of whom are not going to make it? He will lose his shit.

That would not surprise me, TM.
Bill will toughen up those kids and get them NFL-ready. But he's going to fall out with any big egos.

Belichick going to college football as head coach of the Tar Heels.
Imagine how unforgiving that training ground will be. Kids will rightly clamour to play for him, of course. But that's one college system that won't be a barrel of laughs. No Jonny Football in that dressing room!

To be fair, they didn't blow it as much as it was an incredible play by a player that has been one of the few bright spots in the Saints' season.

No need to apologise, fella. The Jets’ ability to lose from seemingly unassailable positions is astonishing.
And on it goes.

FFS!
We go 26-23 up with just 50 seconds left, and still they get the field goal they need!

23 -23 against the Fish, with 4mins left in the game. After being comfortably ahead. But we have the ball.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
No doubt about that, it's just strange the record holder (Fletcher) isn't in there. Well I know why, but it's a personal insult to him considering how quickly Lewis got in

Was my favourite Seahawk for a long time. Deffo a future Hall of Famer

Yeah I don't think Rodgers is helping your cause much, throwing that much money at him, is not helping things.
Two of the many things I’ve learned about the Jets, Cough:
1. We’re never good enough to cherry-pick the games we win or lose!
2. We’re so bad at scouting and drafting that high picks have become irrelevant (Wilson etc). So tanking is a bit pointless.
But we are SO incompetent that I wouldn’t rule out us trying. And probably failing.

Looking like many of the same contenders again this year: Chiefs, Eagles, Lions, Bills, possibly the Ravens if they can get their act together on pass defense. Steelers, Chargers, Washington and Vikes looking to gatecrash the party.
Biggest disappointment (beyond the ever-present-in-that-category Jets) looks like San Francisco.
The Madden Curse.?

I’m heading out to Seattle in a couple of weeks for our game. I’m fully expecting us to lose, but my Vikes mate coming with me is sure they’ll lose - and I’ve only ever seen us win so far…
So fuck knows
