I’d like to see same team as Newcastle and loads of opportunities like Leicester, but this time with goals!

Bowen is our best player and needs to play on the right, I’ve got my doubts about Jimmy as he seems a bit lightweight

               Areola
AWB Todibo Kilman Emerson
Soucek Paqueta Solar
Bowen  Fullkrug Kudos

All eyes are on the managers, which makes this a strange game. If Lotepegui shows he is capable of selecting the players for the roles he wants played and they put in a convincing performance for 90 minutes, then  we win and he keeps his job. But I think the boat has sailed, or rather is holed below the water, and as our Sir Alex said, it’ll all just be shifting the deckchairs.

What a strange attitude. Under Moyes and Allardyce the football was so dull whether we won or not. That’s not the case any more but we keep losing - if we start winning then I’d be happy for Lopetegui to stay and to suggest that it would be ok to lose just to get rid of him after 5 minutes is weird.

Almost certain to concede a goal or two and it will be that easy ball behind the defence as usual. I can't see him fixing that vulnerability. So I'll go for the draw.

Both teams here are susceptible to the dead-man-walking lack of motivation. Although I was impressed with their perseverance against Leicester so I presume they will still put a shift in here. Bigger risk to their motivation is the home fans turning on them if they concede early. "Sacked in the morning" chants. etc

I just hope we don't concede yet another goal in the first 5 minutes.  I'm sick and tired of it!

I reckon this ends up an unsatisfying draw, with both teams (and managers) having more to lose than to gain.  Cunha will get in behind our defence, but Wolves own frailties will show and we'll get goals against them too.

Be interesting to see if the players put in a shift for a dead man walking, or go through the motions knowing he's not going to be around for long.  Also selection will be interesting given the rumours of his falling out with multiple players (Areola, Todibo, Fullkrug, Alvarez, Kudus).

Anyway.  Team for me:

Fabianski, Wan Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson, Soucek, Soler, Paqueta, Summerville, Bowen, Kudus.

Subs:
Areola, Coufal, Mavropanos, Alvarez, Irving, Orford, Antonio, Fullkrug, Guilherme

1-1 (Soucek)
