There was an improvement in our game management and we didn't concede early for a change. Unfortunately 1 of our earlier chances in the 1st half didnt go in to relieve the pressure because had it done I think we would have won more comfortably.
Man City, Liverpool, Newcastle only beat them 2-1 and Arsenal at home 2-0 so i wont turn my nose up at 2-1 with so much riding on it. It was professional in that sense.
Now I think you're on a wind up
Our game management owed itself to the opposition's ineptitude in front of goal and their inability to capitalise upon the opportunities gifted to them by some woeful passing on our part - and I mean really woeful - and some fortunate decisions on the part of the officials
We were dreadful at the start of the second half -further evidence that his half time chat made no difference whatsoever - but for the ten minutes after we scored the first goal we injected some pace and energy, but that ended the moment Kudus' goal was disallowed.
You spend so much time citing other teams results against our recent opponents as if any of that makes any difference whatsoever. It's really odd.
