Favourite Tottenham Supporter
Yes, I know most of them are complete cunts but there must be at least a few who are ok?
I'll go with Chas and Dave, on the basis that they at least had the self awareness to recognise most of their fans don't give a shit about Spurs so would never play the FA cup final song in their concerts.

Re: Favourite Tottenham Supporter
Sheringham admitted he supported us a kid . But drifted over to the dark side as he got older. I know plenty people who did the complete opposite. Including my cousin proper little yid as a boy . Now has a huge tattoo on his neck emblazoned with the name WEST HAM UNITED.
Re: Favourite Tottenham Supporter
My, long since passed, grandparents. The generation who called them the lilywhites and not the Y’s.
Think Wayne Mardle is alright.
My best man and another groomsman are Spurs. One is from a West Ham family, and has sensible football opinions. The other is a thoroughbred and talks a load of bollocks.

Our biggest foes were from up north .
we didn't travel well...
London rivals were a stroll in comparison.

Challenge accepted. There’s a thread on the spurs fighting cock forum about West Ham. It’s 12 years old and still going strong and has had over 20,000 comments…. And they call us obsessed

Sheringham then dropped down a division to the Championship to sign for West Ham United,[sup][36][/sup] the club he supported as a boy.[sup][37]

Re: Favourite Tottenham Supporter
This is interesting.
Brother of mine used to ref dozens of yoof/stiffs games over at Chadwell Heath (pre-COVID), met Teddy many times and said Sheringham was a Hammer.
That being said, when my brother asked for a signed shirt, he got a Number 9 Man U one, so it may just have been marketing on Sheringham's side.
He also said that Sheringham and (Ian) Wright would always lighten the mood in the ground when they were there and both gave an enormous amount of support and encouragement to the youngsters.

Re: Favourite Tottenham Supporter
Our kids godmother was a yiddo. She was the greatest friend to us and the kids adored her.
She passed away quite suddenly a couple of years ago.
Grief has strange quirks and since she passed away, I don't tend to despise the Spurs as much as I used to.
That said, her daughter now lives with us and often wears her Tottenham shirt round the house which just feels so so wrong in our West Ham fanatical household.

Didnt watch the game but would have thought his criticism of Werner should have been delivered inside the dressing room
Though when Loppy tried that he got a smack in the mouth from Todibo
The Greek won’t be there next season you’d expect
I doubt he'll survive the weekend should Southampton beat them this weekend. Just 1 win in their last 8 matches against Man City who everyone seems to beat these days, whilst sitting 11th (or 14th should results go against them) in the League is tin tack territory at Spurs.
With regards to Todibo, at least Lopetegui chose to protect him in the media and didn't hang him out to dry if he felt he could deal with it in-house, which appears to be the case bringing him on as a Sub against Wolves.

Re: Favourite Tottenham Supporter
My old mate from next door who I grew up with from about 2 until we fucked off in different directions. He was a big Spurs fan and when we were teenagers he was was going to a lot of Spurs games. I was not sure about going to West Ham on my own and went to too many games with him. Thankfully I got a bit more confident and starting going to Upton Park.
Over 40 years later and I haven't seen him in about 20 years, maybe I should look him up, but I know I won't! Old cunts are like that.

I suspect that the mindset here is that "If they're good enough to have worked for the mighty, mighty Spurs, then they're more than good enough to work for us."
The thinking of mindless lemmings easily lead by the nose by the media; the same sort of "fan" who thinks Tottenham, and not Millwall, are our true rivals.

Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy. While they run things over there. They will never be serious contenders. The media know this. The fanbase know this. And even the playing staff know this. Long May they raine.!
