Boxing day matches
Everton just got another credible draw away from home 1-1 at Man City. They certainly know how to grind out the hard fought draws this season, even though their quality of attacking Football is a joke.

Re: Boxing day matches
It was boring as fuck. The Goons game didn't look a great deal different either by looks of it.

Re: Boxing day matches
Benders Vs Brentford
that was a tough watch...two managers and sides that try to hard to be 'modern'..
Brentford players came out for the second -half with that touch line sprint bollocks, it's all nonsense.
All the HUGE number of hangers - on on the bench finding ways to justify their existence during the constant long stoppages...?
I do like that what the heck bloke for the benders..and the bongo drum for Brentford

We were never that bad.

Re: Boxing day matches
VAR being a joke again in the Liverpool/Leicester game, nearly 4 mins each for 2 VAR decisions with Liverpool goals, one given, one not!
So much for the "clear and obvious" that VAR was touted as being for!

Re: Boxing day matches
Posted this on the match day thread by mistake:
Wonder what odds a bookie would have offered at the start if the season for both Manchester clubs finishing outside of the top four?

This Amorim bloke, yeah they had the sending off but fuck me, they look on par with us?
If there weren't already 3 nailed-on certs for relegation this term, I'd be very worried if I were a Manchew fan.

Re: Boxing day matches
Spurs and Chelsea losing, us winning, makes a nice Christmas present.
I thought Duran was unlucky to get sent off. It looked like he slipped and I don’t think there was that much contact but the player overreacted which has become the norm. Does that mean he misses our match?

Re: Boxing day matches
They took 3 points from Arsenal, Chelsea and City but my god it was painful to watch.
