NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
I’ve been hoping that the loss of Tua for a run games didn’t cost us. Play offs looked out of reach for the Dolphins a few weeks back, still not too likely but in with a chance going into the last game - wasn’t expecting that.

Shorty’s going to go nuts!South. I’m beyond nuts. First the bending over for Liverpool. Then this.! These are the types of days where you question your own logic in following organise sports. Is it for fun. Loyalty. Or the perverse feeling of being alive. Only when you’re team are only making you miserable.? “Pain is so close too pleasure.” Doesn’t even start to cover it.
Either way. There couldn’t have been a couple of games that have summed up 2024 than West Ham and the New York Giants yesterday. Top too bottom. What a mess. And what a joke.!
GO G MEN.
I hear that, Shorty. That’s EXACTLY how I feel every year with West Ham and the Jets. I still wouldn’t have it any other way, though.
Keep the faith, fella.

Yup. Can’t even fucking tank properly. You just know this utterly pointless benefitless win will cost a quarterback.

Miike. I’ve said Ward all season. But I’m happy with either. As for the coaching side. If they bin Daboll. It’s best too clear house. Getting Jones to drag us into the playoffs. And winning coach of the year. Put a hugh target on his back. And we have gone backwards on the field. Schoen certainly ain’t without blame. But his picks last spring have been solid. And the mess he has untangled us from. Is only now being aspirated. And he still hasn’t yet picked a QB. Hopefully the worse is over.?

Superb stuff from Daniels, again. Mad game, that.
SB, he's doing this historic shit with a pretty ordinary (bar terry mclaurin) group of weapons. one name to keep an eye on as another potential superstar, 17 year old bryce underwood who's just committed to michigan, after switching from LSU (clearly for money). he looks special

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Raiders seemed to forget they were tanking this weekend, and ballsed up their draft hopes. Had to laugh.
Must say, though: unless there’s an absolute nailed on star QB sitting at #1 in the draft - like Elway, or Manning - I don’t quite see the point in tanking.
Too many #1 draft picks have failed, expensively, for it to be worthwhile. Especially at sides that can’t coach (like the Browns or Jets!). Cam Ward and Shadeur Sanders both look good at this stage, but you just can’t tell can tell until they play in the NFL. In the 2018 draft, Josh Rosen was a top 10 pick: 22 places above Lamar Jackson.
There is often value in the mid-picks.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
At home, i think you'll beat Green Bay. You should have battered them in the first match but allowed them to come back late and nearly blew it. My one doubt for you this year was keeping Jones (RB) fit, but he's there and will be extra motivated next week against them
