Actually, I think part of why he’s being knighted is there is more value, intelligence and talent in a piece of Steven Fry’s blue bellybutton fluff than there is in the entire anti-woke moral panic.

Always liked Stephen Fry, yes, he seems a bit excentric but also talks a lot of sense and regularly calls out stuff for being ridiculous or hypocritical, probably harsh of me to say all 3 of those mentioned in the OP are woke as fuck as clearly Fry isn't, maybe on the left, but not the nutty woke apologist left who hates all things about our culture, he's more what i would call a rational and reasonable person who supports what the left used to be all about, that is working people and those vulnerable and disadvantaged..

No problem with him getting a knighthood, as you know he's one of the few who will use it to help others.

Hes also contributed greatly to UK comedy, well before it all got watered down by the woke BBC etc.! so for that he deserves recognition amongst other things he has done and been supportive of.
