Lopetegui (sacked 8.1.2025)

Post maverick180 »

I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

But from what I've just seen today, this cսnt is David Moyes in a mission impossible mask

Yep, it will be Cooper. But he may also not fancy working for the odious Sullivan.

6 month deal for whoever the replacement is? Fuck off.
I think it would also reflect badly on Potter as well having pulled our plonker for so long giving the impression he'd manage us, only to fuck us off after all that dicking around the past couple of months. Honestly, what's the delay, you either want the well paid Premier League job that's not in the bottom 3 or you don't...

Sullivan and Brady obviously speak for themselves with how they conduct business.

I'd suggest we end up with Steve Fucking Cooper, you know it.

I can't find much except over excited and click baited YouTube channels and callers on Talksport covering this "sacking" or about to be?

He could well be n his bike but until its on the OS im not getting carried away and expect him in the dugout waving his arms around and yelling in Spanish at Villa Park on Friday night......

As much class as you’d expect from a porn empire multi millionaire. The bloke is a grade A cսnt. Embarrassing and shameful behaviour.

Not being a cսnt at all, but I'm still confused about what you think he should be consulted at all on apart from telling him he's shit, his jobs under threat and he needs to up his game.

Did I say about a potential replacement? Don't be a cսnt, consulting him about losing his job, you know what I meant. You know, something most civilised companies/sports clubs do before leaking it to the press/radio stations

In the meantime, Nottingham Forest - yes, that Nottingham Forest we thought disappeared when Clough's whisky jar ran dry - are on a title run!

the funniest sub rumour connected to potter is the thought that dan ashworth would consider stepping in to the non existent faux technical director role 😂

this is like a managerial version of the carlos bacca shit they pulled every close season

You could make a very good satirical version of "Conclave" as a behind-the-scenes look at the horse-trading, back-stabbing, betrayals, rows and egos behind how West Ham change managers...

A couple of takeaways from tonight, regardless of what happens:

Sullivan is a massive cսnt

Loppy’s position is untenable.

probably no change from the start of the day there really.

AOI - Terry Brown is still at the club, mate. He bought back in a few seasons ago. Oh yeah, we've got the golden generation of ownership: Sully, Brown, Brady, that weird Yank, the Czech guy who is more interested in Royal Mail and a dead bloke's shares floating around in a family trust.

But Potter probably knows they are going to get rid of Dyche, and he’s only waiting for the best offer. And between us and Everton, I’d say that’s a no-brainer in the long term. I think he’d keep them up comfortably, and they have a new stadium around the corner. Much more attractive than the circus in E20.

It all feels like the time they tried to appoint Martin O'Neill to replace Avram Grant, leaked the whole plan, and pissed him off in the process - so (reportedly) O'Neill walked away. We were left with the miserable one.

O'Neill would not have torn up any trees at West Ham, but he's a decent man and must have been gobsmacked by how bad our board can be. I know all fans think it, but our lot take this shit to new levels.
