I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

I have to agree with a yt channel (not C&B) and their view that they're (the vermin) trying to get Loppy to walk without paying him off. To be fair the owners have always had the tendency to shoot themselves in the foot at this club, from the strange "sacking" of Ted Fenton to the shabby treatment of legends Bobby Moore, John Lyall and Billy Bonds amongst I am sure many others including Grant and Roeder who whislt clearly not the answer in the hot seat should have been treated a tad better.  Even the Icelandics made a right pigs ear of it but Sullivan really has taken it to a new level.

 

 

This is largely true. The club have consistently treated managers and legends badly. To be fair the handling of recent tragedies, has been good.
Generally, however, managing people has been shocking. And this is where "embrace change" is bollocks. We want progress not just change. Progress means learning the lessons from the past, achieving, behaving and representing ourselves in a better manner than the predecessors.
Sullivan has regressed to Neanderthal standards, plumbing new depths that previous owners, whilst callous, did not reach. It is a bit like going to the doctors with Covid but to be told " No, actually we got your diagnosis wrong, you actually have actually stage 4 arse cancer".   A change but not for the better.
We want Lopetegui gone, in the right way. To see the back of Sullivan and Brady? well it would be really hard for that not to be progress.

We weren't going to be relegated and then decide calmly which way to go from that point with a lot of talk about Allegri possibly waiting in the wings. The decent thing would have been for the club to have remained shtum until the moment Jalopy is jettisoned.
