I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

You are not literally seeing nothing, unless you don't want to see it. You and other's are more than welcome to pretend and ignore we don't make countless goal scoring opportunities these days and if we had a fit and clinical Striker up top to put many of these chances away this season, the intensity around the blokes future would be non existent. Instead he has had to put up with no Fullkrug until very recently who's fitness is still lacking, his other main Striker Antonio involved in a potential career ending car accident and Bowen getting injured in the Liverpool game for 2 months on top of everything else going wrong for us up top. 

The signs are clear that the quality of passing as Team now is generally decent that creates a shit load of chances when we can field our main Keeper (shock, horror out injured due to new concussion protocol) and don't have to rely so much on the Greek tragedy in defence. People can overlook all those mitigating circumstances and pretend it doesn't make a jot of difference but to those like me it certainly does. And that's before we even get on to all the constant nonsense off the pitch involving conniving protagonists in charge conspiring to fuck it all up.

Sacking him off the back of losing away to Champions Man City and Champions elect Liverpool is laughable. 

I’d say they’re sacking him because he’s lost half the games he’s managed and conceded 2 goals a game while doing so.

It was straightforward, leave Lopetegui to just get on with seeing out the season and see what comes of it. We weren't going to be relegated and then decide calmly which way to go from that point with a lot of talk about Allegri possibly waiting in the wings. Instead what we've done is create a massive needless shitshow desperately whoring ourselves about by making an absolute mess of it all. 

I was initially also onboard with giving Lopetegui time but you can’t honestly still believe this, while taking the stance you are on Potter?

We are halfway through the season and I still can’t see what style he is trying to play. We get pummelled by almost any half decent side. Defensively we are an embarrassment. We give up so many chances every game, and that can’t be purely down to personnel. Fuck knows what his idea is with bombing both full backs up the pitch and leaving two defenders like lambs to the slaughter on the counter. Worse still, he hasn’t realised in 21 games that it doesn’t work!

If I were seeing any signs to suggest he just needed time for his style to get up to speed, I would agree with persevering, but we are literally seeing nothing.

I do think contracts should have clauses in them to stop managers getting a massive payout for doing a shit job.  For example, play 20 games with a less than 33% win rate and you can be fired with no compensation.  And to counter that, the bonuses for being successful should be very generous. 

Seeing people get very rich because of their own failures is very irksome.

Potter would be fortunate then as he only got 38.71% (31.11% at Brighton) at Chelsea and they had to pay out an absolute fortune in the end for his Chelsea failure.

Anyway Potter, you have another night to sleep on it before finally deciding yes or no you classless prick...

They had to pay up Bilic, Pellegrini and potentially Lopetegui for cutting short their stays. Unless you're a British manager of course then you can have as long as you want at it until your contract eventually runs out.

According to Nick ( C & B ) the issue was that the board on Sunday agreed to get rid of him but wanted to speak to Potter first but someone in that meeting told the media. He thinks Steidten is the issue and both he and Loppy should go.
