Potter Predictions for Fulham and Palace home games

Post Manuel »

These are big games. One reason is that Potter could do with a good start, for obvious reasons, and two wins, or even 4 points, could mean an outside chance of a push for a European spot - it's not too late with 18 games still left.

Hard to call for me, it's still early in Potter's reign so won't have had many training sessions still, neither Fulham or Palace are mugs, then there's the injuries.

I'll slant on the side of optimism and say 4 points.

You cunts?

Hoping to get 3 points out of the two games. Before the cup game I'd have hoped for 4, but if we assume we are missing:

Bowen, Füllkrug, Todibo, Antonio, Summerville and maybe Mavropanos from at least one maybe both:

Then it becomes hard to put a coherent, threatening side together with Ings the only fit centre forward, and one fit senior central defender for a 3 at the back system.

I mean the team in the next game could easily look something like:
Fabianski

Wan Bissaka Casey Kilman

Soler. Soucek. Alvarez. Scarles

Paqueta. Emerson

Kudus

Subs: Areola, Cresswell, Coufal, Irving, Orford, Rodriguez, Ings, Guilherme, Ajala,
It's pretty bare bones.
