We are in Trouble!
We are in Trouble!
Morning all,
Just done a reasonable assessment of the most likely points we will amass between now and the end of the season.
This is quite a prudent view so hopefully we will get a few more wins and then we will be over the magical 40 points.
Fulham 1
Palace 1
Villa 0
Chelsea 0
Brentford 1
Arsenal
Leicester 3
Newcastle 0
Everton 1
Wolves 1
Bournemouth 1
Liverpool 0
Southampton 3
Brighton 1
Spurs 0
Man Unt 0
Forrest 1
Ipswich 1
Total 15 + 23 = 38
A few positives,
We are no longer in the FA Cup or any other competition so at least the players can concentrate on the league.
We have Graham Potter who will miraculously turns our bang average players into real stars.
,,,, and if we do go down like we have done countless times over the years, it's in our DNA to come straight back up!
Irons!

Yeah but you posted this thread at 2.30 in the morning. You're an utter Spurs bellend mate.

Re: We are in Trouble!
Perversely I quiet like the chaos of relegation, after all it doesn’t really effect me does it, there will still be football every week and the the likes of Huddersfield won’t be hoovering up tickets in the Bobby Moore lower wearing half and half scarfs. It’ll be worth it just to see the board utterly humiliated.

I don’t thing we’re going down and I don’t think we’re going to set the world on fire either. This was always going to be a transitional season, the best we should hope for are gradual steps in the right direction and some sensible recruitment. We have to give potter time and back him to get it right.

Re: We are in Trouble!
38 points will be enough to stay up this season.
So this is hardly panic stations, even if the back of a fag packet calculation turns out to be accurate.
For what it’s worth, I think it will be a frustrating second half to the season - and I fully expect some people to lose patience with Potter. Injuries, the fact that our squad is poor and needs a big overhaul, and the transition to Potter, will cause us some serious problems. But we should squeeze by.
The whole aim should be to establish a playing style and system, blood some of the youngsters like Scarles so that they’re proper members of the first-team squad ahead of next season, and start the long process of unpicking the mess of this disjointed squad.
The time to really measure Potter will be from August, when he’ll have had two transfer windows and plenty of games.

Reckon 33 pts will be enough this season
Southampton won’t make 20 & are gone already

Problem is Steady that the wind up merchants with the low self esteem, insecurities, need for attention, inadequacies are often unaware. It can be an unconsious thing in their psychology. The high they get from seeing people react or even better getting angry, upset is what they want. Dont give it to them is the best advice

Perhaps they've (all) been banned from the respective fan sites of their own clubs (for playing the cսnt card they play here) and this is the only football related site left (that's YOU, that is) that gives them attention.

I hate to break the myth that we’ve gone down countless times. However we’ve been relegated 6 times in over 100 years, only once more than Chelsea (5) and 2 more than Spurs (4)
Re: We are in Trouble!
I do wonder what West Ham or our fans have done to warrant the energy and time it puts in, even resorting to whomail’s last night for attention. Reckon one of our fans gave them a slap over the Lane years ago and this is a form of revenge
