Season tickets for seniors
Not sure what our policy is but see that Tottenham along with announcing a 6% increase for season tickets next season are changing their policy for seniors. Sounds like they currently get 50% off but from 2025/26 the discount will reduce by 5% per year over the next 5 years. Any new coffin dodging fans who apply for a season ticket from 2025/26 will get no discount. They reckon they now have 4 times as many senior season ticket holders than they did in the old stadium.

Re: Season tickets for seniors
"Ange Postecoglou has launched a passionate defence of ‘plastic’ Tottenham fans amid controversy over the club’s plans to hike up ticket prices. The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust has written to Premier League chief executive Richard Masters asking for help in halting plans for season ticket prices to rise by six per cent next season, with concessions for over-65s set to be scrapped altogether. “The fact that a fan of 30, 40 or 50 years loyal support will now never be able to buy a season ticket at a senior concession rate is disgraceful and unacceptable,” the letter said. Those affected fear they will be priced out in favour of more affluent fans with less of a historical affiliation to the club – ‘plastics’ in supporter slang – or those with little or no connection to north London. ‘Tourists’ in other words."

"J.Riddle 3:16 Fri Mar 8 Yeah, that’s right. We are living longer for sure, and they went up from 35,000 to 60,000 capacity. Not sure which has had the most impact on the instant increase in OAP numbers, though? What do you think?"

But 'old fucks' typically don't have a salary with which to pay the mortgage and kids.

4 times as many senior season ticket holders than they did in the old stadium. So basically we're all living longer. Well well who would have thunk it?

"I know there are some of us old gits that are poor, but nearly every one over retirement age I know has paid off the mortgage, brats left home, and are on a decent pension as well as state pension. most of us are a fucking site better off now than when working. It's the poor bloody workers that need the discount."

"They have to relocate their seat to a senior section to get a discount. That section contains 4 times the amount of seniors than before? Possibly, when going from 35,000 to 60,000 there’s going to be a range of ages. Looks like they’re going to screw them for their last shekels now anyway, so no surprise at all really"
