If it's grade 3, that's a MIchael-Owen level tear and 3 months would be a bare minimum especially at Fullkrug's age. Needless to say, he would lose a step on an already slow player. I haven't seen anything saying it's that bad nor do injury reports usually indicate that level of detail.

Yeah, I was simply responding to the prior claim that a hamstring injury wouldn't rule a player out for 3 months rather than claiming unequivocally that was the extent of this particular injury. I don't know how serious it is, only that it is "significant" and that he will be out for "a number of weeks"... which, as Potter clarified, can obviously be classified as months

He'll be fortunate not to have surgery on it. Poor cսnt could barely walk on it unassisted and needed carrying down the touchline to the dressing room in the end. Can't see him back before 3 months and they should take extra precaution with him what with his medical history and age. Leg's like snapped elastic bands and effectively the new Danny Ings back-up Striker for the next few seasons now once Ings contract is up this summer.

The main issue with Salthouse, Silkman and / or Mackay (et al) deciding who we buy is that once they've trousered the commission, they don't give a fuck about how their player performs - especially if he's well past his "best before" date and this is a last-time buy..

Why Sullivan even bothers to deal with people dealing in products like that is beyond me.

This signing has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster. It was sheer madness to lay out £27 million for an aging 31 year old striker who had never played outside of Germany before, and I stated so on here at the time.

It will be ridiculous if Fulkrug and Ings are still at the club next season. But nothing would surprise me with this club.

Suppose if it’s a very severe one then possibly. But hopefully it’s a matter of weeks rather than months. Think I’m being optimistic maybe. However surely this forces the clubs hand into action this window.

Yes, for all the debates about his fitness - and fitness for purpose - his goals and assists per minutes played was probably better than anyone else in our squad

Harsh on him for this one I think.

He was running as fast as he possibly could to put pressure on their back line after the ball left our half. 

It wasn't as necessary as he made it - I'd say he was obviously trying to impress. Early in the game and cold night. Shame. In the few minutes he's played I think he has 2 assists and 2 goals.

As for Antonio saying his diet made a difference...I think it was his effort and application in games that stopped him pulling muscles.

The guy appears to be made of glass or something. Manages to crock himself for 3 months simply by running unimpeded. If he does play for us again, he'll probably play for 10 minutes before being put out for another 3 months by a leaf being blown into his leg. 

 

 

Isn’t this a totally unrelated injury to his first one with us?
Also aren’t hamstring injuries preventable? Like better warm up or less exertion in the actual game. I remember antonio saying that he changed his diet completely and stopped getting these types of injuries. 

I suppose for a 30m asset, what is the club doing to make sure they are in great condition. Is it just down to the player?
