In all seriousness, that was a freak result really when you look at the goals. The stats speak for themselves…although the work rate looked higher already.

Not impressed at all with Fulham. We were there for the taking and they completely bottled it.
That’s true, and it finally makes up for the Leicester match.

The key positives are: finally we have a manager who presses, in an organised manner, rather than standing off when we don’t have the ball; and also the work rate. Players busting a gut. Best Alvarez has been for some time, and likewise Paqueta.

Landed on the right side of a 3-2. Sure it wasn’t perfect but it’s a new manager, without a host of players, in something of a transition. What’s not to like?

Well played to all the  lads ...put a proper shift in.
It's all we ask.
Fantastic result ..I would have taken a draw before the game.
You can see the difference already in attitude.
Another  solid run out for Ollie Scarles and did himself proud again .
hopefully that's gees up his mates in the academy to have the confidence to do the same when called upon.👍
Cheers Potter

Scored 2 goals that were absolute gifts into empty nets and still tried to throw it away with two terrible soft goals. Very little quality and I dont think we had any shots on goal other than the goals. I hope Potter can do something better with this side, really must have trod in something to come away with the points after that.

Was delighted to see us ditch Lope’s STUPID tactic of tucking full-backs close to the CBs. How refreshing to watch our full backs play mostly in straight lines!

Well done Graham “ 50% win rate “ Potter.

The players actually looked like they gave a fuck, think what he could do with a fully fit squad.

Brave move taking off Kudus.

Well done to Ings as well, slaughtered on here the other night.

We look a better team effort wise and seem better organised but our two weaknesses are still the same. Whilst we scored a great team goal it was pretty much the only good move we created.

There was definitely a higher work rate at closing down the opposition which was how Fulham ended up gifting us two goals.

Unfortunately we also gifted two goals straight through the middle of our two CB’s. Showing these two cannot be a pairing for long. I see people on here blame our midfield a lot but these two fucking idiots cannot read danger properly and will continue to get torn apart even  if you had 6 DM in front of them.

Great to get the win, especially with all the injuries but if we don’t get players in these issues aren’t going away from coaching and tactics.

What an odd win!

Delighted, obviously, but their keeper gifted us two goals and needs his head examined.

We’re still leaky - two soft goals and the woodwork saved us, too.

But great to get a winning start under Potter, and with many injuries currently hampering us. Takes a bit of pressure off.

Above Spurs, too.

We pretty much lost our whole front line and still beat them. Not bad at all!
Dont think Paq has ever played no.9 for us either.
Really cant complain. We rode our luck a bit but there 2 goals were rather fortunate ones, nothing well worked at all.

Add some pace into the midfield, a proper box to box guy and a striker and I'm feeling positive. COYI!

Get in! A hard fought win in a whacky game with mistakes all over the shop by both sides and gifted a couple of goals but couldn't care less. Soucek was my MotM, he was everywhere. Now to take that confidence in to the next one against the Nigels and well played Potter...

Odd one that, bit lucky but then again we helped them with their two goals, but considering the team we had out we did well

Wow really don't quite know what to say about that. Great 3 points,  two awful goals given away but Fulham gave away two worse. But three great finishes, and you can't fault the work rate. I thought Alvarez covered every blade of grass. Thought Paqueta worked hard as well to be fair. Glad we held on, had a horrible feeling we would concede a last minute goal. Well done Mr Potter.

Kudos wasn't really getting a lot out of the game, so not a bad sub.

Just looked at the table and we appear to be above the mighty, mighty Tottenham.
