Thought he was excellent tonight, and a great bit of skill towards the end of the game. Always been reliable and clearly loves the club.

Scored 2 goals that were absolute gifts into empty nets and still tried to throw it away with two terrible soft goals. Very little quality and I dont think we had any shots on goal other than the goals. I hope Potter can do something better with this side, really must have trod in something to come away with the points after that.

37 goals for us sorry, forgot to include the 3 goals he also scored for us whilst on an initial Loan. Fantastic return for a predominantly Defensive Midfielder and doesn't rely on Penalties to puff them out either. 👌

Feels like the first time in a long time where it was nice to be in the stadium. Enjoyed that, and thought our passing is starting to look a lot sharper. Pressing was good too.

Delighted for Ings - came on with a great attitude, got the assist and celebrated like he’d scored. He’s got his haters, but continue with commitment like that and I reckon he can do a job for us (and score a few).

What I like about Potter, and it was mentioned in his appearance on the High Performance podcast, is that he wants all of his squad to get game time. Great to see Irving get some decent minutes tonight too - looked good on the ball, albeit a little rusty in patches.

Feeling positive, roll on Saturday.

Three managers in a row see something in him. Even pulled out a trick or two tonight. Important player.
Joint top scorer again too and contrary to popular belief he only really scores headers, that's his 3rd open goal with his feet. Still not hit 30 yet either with plenty more left in the tank, 34 goals and counting...

Exactly. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game this much. The players and the crowd all seemed to be enjoying themselves and the mood on the journey home was buoyant. It's what I've been waiting for.

One thing is for sure is that you can never write Soucek off. Good performance and another goal to go with it.

That was a win for being positive and working hard off the ball. Forcing them into mistakes and capitalising from it. No way we score any of those goals under the last two managers. Pressing that high up the pitch was verboten. This is a great result as it will feed confidence and belief in what GP is trying to instil. Considering the amount of attackers injured we did great to score three goals. Sure we rode our luck but fuck it. I don’t care. The team for the most part stick to the plan and looked like they knew what we were doing, forced the oppo into mistakes and capitalised. That’s a win for being positive and forcing things, and a win when not playing well.

Under Moyes or Lop we pathetically lose that game without a whimper.

I genuinely despair at some of our “ fans “.
How can you despair at honesty. It was awful stuff. Sure there was a bit of energy but very little quality. Clearly the manager isnt helped with the side he was able to put out and my expectation wasnt high going into this. So yes good 3 points but awful forgettable match.

In all seriousness, that was a freak result really when you look at the goals. The stats speak for themselves…although the work rate looked higher already.

Not impressed at all with Fulham. We were there for the taking and they completely bottled it.
That’s true, and it finally makes up for the Leicester match.

And hopefully this ain't just a freak managerial bounce like what happened in that Leicester game before they then went on a horrific run of losses soon after. We have a chance to attack the next game against Palace again at Home and get right amongst the top 10 middle of the table. Potter is getting a tune out of the Team with everyone working hard but they need to keep this up and maintain this level of effort. So far, so good.

Some good things for sure.
We can pass when we need to and our players have skill.
The press was pretty good at points.

But you can certainly see how slow we are, especially with the injuries to Bowen and Summerville.
Lupetegui bringing  in two midfielder ( to go with Alvarez and Soucek,) who also have middling pace at best, was a huge misstep.

I like Mavropanos but need at least Todibo pace there as well.

I like that Potter knows he has a big, if injury-ravaged, squad and is prepared to use his bench.

A good result if fortuitous.Fulham will be kicking themselves for the mistakes that cost them at least a point.

For us, aside winning, the positives are that we got a performance and we saw Scarles come on again. The Negatives are the dire injury situation, better hope we are doing business in this window !
