Palace are a decent side, they started slow but are finding some form now.

it’s always a tough game against them at our place.

However they are below us so can't be THAT good.
We've already beaten them too.

But as I said it would be typical of weat ham to promise something good only to turn to shite

if summerville is back and the players are up
for it.  A win is likely
however of were still injury ravaged and any of teh players revert back to the cowards they've been all
season we could come unstuck.  Would be typical west ham
if you see any reason why we could win then you are a lot more confident than me!

One thing that is actually nice is he will have thought about how Palace will likely want to play and what we can tactically set up to do to best them with who we have available. The line up and formation will probably reflect that.

Lovely change from Moyes and Lop who would doggedly just do their one size fits all with square pegs in round holes if necessary approach.

I think Summerville should be available. He wasn't injured but just felt his hamstring a bit and was taken off as a precaution. Ings up front for me, not particularly on merit but because he's the only option and Paqueta isn't right for it.

Fabianski
AWB   Mavropanos    Kilman     Emerson
Soucek     Alvarez
Kudus    Paqueta     Summerville
Ings

Palace are unbeaten in 10 in all competions I think I heard?

Same as with Fulham, the performance and seeing little improvements is currently as important as getting a result. Always great when 3 points are taken but it looks unlikely we get inti Europe and equally end up in a relegation discussion. So its asuch about seeing Potter bring in youngsters, try some diffetent tactical tweaks and het the most out of what we have. With the injuries we have that will be a challenge again but lets hope we see us pressing collectively as we did against Fulham in spells and that nay be our best chance of goals again tbh

Hoping to see Scarles and other u21s get minutes as that xan only be a good thing for the club longer term.

Will be ecstatic with a win but not too upset with a draw based on who we have available currently

Ignore the cսnt. He has nothing good to say about West Ham and clearly hates us.

Same goes for Chris Sutton.

Is he not allowed his opinion?

A Palace win is as likely as any outcome when you look at the players we have missing and the fact that they seem to have picked up of late after a poor start to the season.

Yeah he’s done that to us a lot. With usually a sort of ‘all logic says this will be a West Ham win or a draw but I’m going to go for a West Ham loss just because….’ No real reasoning or critical thinking behind it. For some weird reason it feels a bit spiteful.

Lawro was a miserable cock but I didn’t really feel there was any malice in him or at least he was a miserable cock to most teams. Sutton has been taking little digs at us almost every week when making his predictions. Snide. No idea what his beef actually would be.
